To make Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit perfectly pleasant, Downtown Disney District turned to its Resort Enhancement team. The team lead, Sara Dehghan, tells Disney Parks Blog that she relished the opportunity because it offered up lots of chances to be creative.

One of the main goals with each pumpkin was to make sure it has the closest resemblance to its respective character as possible. “For Goofy, we picked a taller pumpkin. Mickey is rounder and Stitch had to be smaller than Lilo,” she says.

After each and every pumpkin pal proved accurate, the team had the task of finding spots for each one. The placements were purposeful and true to each character—but you’ll want to find that out for yourself when you pay Downtown Disney a visit.
