Jaleo, which has been under construction at Disney Springs for quite some time now, finally has an opening date—and it’s really soon!
The very first Jaleo restaurant opened in Washington D.C. in 1993 and introduced the U.S. to Spanish tapas dining. Jaleo, which means “revelry,” represents the very best of Spanish cuisine and design. Under the guidance of Chef José Andrés, the restaurant offers an unparalleled tapas experience.
Jaleo Opening Date
Chef Andrés is proud to announce that the restaurant will begin dinner service starting March 17, 2019, with lunch service beginning later in the month.
Menu highlights include a variety of authentic paellas cooked over a wood-fired paella pit, Spanish specialties like hand-carved Jamon Iberico de Bellota and wood-grilled Iberico pork, and signature dishes like Gambas al ajillo, shrimp sautéed with garlic and chili, and Pollo Croquetas, classic Spanish chicken fritters.

Pepe Opening Date
Chef Andrés’ wildly popular Spanish food truck, Pepe, will be opening its first brick-and-mortar location right next door. Pepe will be open for both lunch and dinner services starting March 17, 2019. No reservations required.
Menu highlights include hot and cold Spanish sandwiches, as well as gazpacho and salads to go.
The best part? Both new restaurants will be serving Spanish sangria! Sounds perfect and refreshing for a hot Florida day!
