REVIEW: Prime Rib Dinner at Planet Hollywood and More
We were hosted by Planet Hollywood to try their new Prime Rib Dinner. While we love a complimentary good time, our reviews are our honest opinions.
World Famous Chicken Crunch
For our appetizer we started with the World Famous Chicken Crunch. The “world famous” in the name made the decision for us. It arrived in the cutest chicken basket and was so tender with a slight sweet flavor that contrasted the spicier Creole mustard sauce well!
[NEW] Prime Rib Dinner at Planet Hollywood
Now onto the main course, the Roasted Prime Rib of Beef! This new dish features a 14 oz. prime rib served with roasted garlic mashed potatoes, a green bean blend, horseradish and au jus. My first impression was “WOW” because I was not expecting such a large portion of prime rib! It was seasoned perfectly, super tender and cooked perfectly to each of our liking. You can add a side house salad or side Caesar salad for 7.99. I ended up taking half of my portion home for lunch AND dinner for the next day!
For our sweet finish we ordered the OREO® Cookie Bash and Banana Pudding Star Jar. I am a huge Oreo fan so I loved the cookie bash, it was dense and decadent!
The Banana Pudding Star Jar was also well enjoyed. It was creamy with the perfect banana flavor. The vanilla wafers flavor and texture was a nice contrast to the sweetness and creaminess of the banana pudding.
So much fun!
Throughout the dinner, the large 4,500-square-foot screen will play music videos and sing-a-longs. The whole restaurant and even the staff joins in on the singing! With more movie artifacts on display in the dining area and the constant entertainment on the big screen, Planet Hollywood is fun for the whole family to enjoy!
