Starting today, you can take advantage of some seriously cool new PhotoPass enhancements and parks, from snapshots to video reels, when you visit any of the Disney World theme parks!
You’re probably already pretty familiar with Disney’s PhotoPass service. After all, it’s key to capturing all of your vacation and visit memories when you head to Walt Disney World Resort – and whether you’re opting for Memory Maker or snapping Magic Shots in iconic locations throughout the theme parks, PhotoPass provides you with some incredible images. And now, you can try a whole bunch of brand-new PhotoPass opportunities!
Starting March 20, 2023, there will be a number of new perks that all Guests can take advantage of with PhotoPass photographers throughout the resort. Here’s what to expect (and what you can’t skip!) the next time you give PhotoPass a try.

Walt Disney World’s Tiny World Magic Shots are hugely popular across the resort, and for good reason! These special PhotoPass shots utilize a 360-degree camera to capture fun photos of Guests in front of iconic spots, like EPCOT’s Spaceship Earth, the Tree of Life at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and around Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Now, Tiny World Magic Shots are available at Magic King Park too! These exciting PhotoPass offerings can finally be found at all four theme parks. You’ll find this brand-new Tiny World photo oppprtunity located right behind Cinderella Castle, along the walkway that comes up by the wishing well.
Don’t miss the chance to take advantage of this brand-new Tiny World Magic Shot (or the chance to get one shot in every theme park you visit)!
Genie+ Now Includes Attraction Photos
Here’s another reason to pay for Genie+ when you head to Walt Disney World: Genie+ now includes attraction photos with your purchase.
So, you’ll not only be able to get PhotoPass Lenses (a feature that’s been included with the service), but you’ll now also get all of your attraction photos, too. That means every attraction you ride that captures your photo can be downloaded without an extra cost! Just keep in mind that this new PhotoPass enhancement is only available for the day you purchase Genie+, not for past visits. You’ll be able to download any attraction photos taken the day of your visit, and Genie+ purchase, without paying more.
Annual Passholders Now Get Access to PhotoPass Lenses

While Guests who’ve purchased Genie+ have been able to take advantage of PhotoPass Lenses during each Disney World visit, Annual Passholders will now enjoy this same perk! All Walt Disney World Annual Passholders will have PhotoPass Lenses included with their pass.
To take advantage of this new passholder perk, you won’t need to do a thing! PhotoPass Lenses will now be available in your account in the My Disney Experience app. Plus, there’s one more passholder-exclusive perk: You’ll also get to enjoy Cinderella Castle Mural of Memories. This special opportunity, which can also be found in the My Disney Experience app, allows you to view Cinderella Castle through your phone’s camera as it becomes transformed into a mural of Guest memories. And you can add your own family or personal photo by choosing a PhotoPass image to place on a specific spot within the mural!
A New Video Enhancement Takes Guests Beyond PhotoPass Photos
PhotoPass has been getting smarter and more tech-savvy each year, and now the service is going beyond photos! Those who purchase Memory Maker will be able to take advantage of a new PhotoPass perk called Video Memories, a template that allows you to insert PhotoPass photos into a variety of templates to create a Disney-themed highlight reel.
It’s like a video feed of all of your favorite memories and moments from your Disney World vacation, curated by you and customized with a special Disney-themed template. And it’s particularly handy for sharing as a reel on social media!
Don’t want to use PhotoPass photos? Good news: You can also use Video Memories with any photos hanging out in your phone’s camera roll, or even Disney stock photos available within the My Disney Experience app. It’s versatile and adaptable so you can work with whatever you have available. Here’s a look at where to find it inside your app:

Head to the “My Day” section of Genie in app to find Video Memories.

Walk through an easy in-app tutorial to see what this feature can do.
Initially, the new Video Memories feature will offer four templates to choose from, ranging from 10 to 60 seconds in length. New templates will be added from time to time, based on special themes, seasons, and more happening around Walt Disney World.
Walt Disney World Annual Passholders will also have the new Video Memories perk added to their list of benefits, so don’t miss the chance to try it out on your next visit!
