New Menu Items Are Coming to Some of Disneyland’s Best-Loved Restaurants

Discover the new menu additions coming to Carnation Café, River Belle Terrace, and Cafe Orleans at Disneyland Park.

Earlier this year, it was announced that some exciting changes were coming to the menus at three classic Disneyland restaurants – and now, we’ve got all of the details! Starting on September 12, 2023, you’ll be able to try new dishes and drinks at Carnation Café, River Belle Terrace, and Cafe Orleans. Each table service location will see a refreshed list of foods and beverages themed around their setting and their classic cuisine. For a sneak peek at what you’ll find on the menus at these dining destinations, keep reading below.

Carnation Café: What’s New

When you walk down Main Street, U.S.A. it’s impossible not to smell the delicious food coming from Carnation Café. This table service restaurant inside Disneyland features classic American comfort food, plus a few dishes that were Walt’s favorites. Serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, you’ll be able to stop by and snag a bite any time of the day. And the new menu items expand the café’s brunch menu in particular!

New Food Items at Carnation Café

  • Veggie Skillet: Three-cheese eggs, breakfast potatoes, onions, mushrooms, peppers, and spinach topped with cheese and fresh tomato garnish (Available through Nov. 9) 
  • Walt’s Chili-Cheese Omelet: Cheese omelet topped with chili, cheese, and chives served with breakfast potatoes (Available through Nov. 9, for breakfast only)
  • Brownie with Chocolate Sauce (Plant-based) 

New Beverages at Carnation Café 

  • Orange Creamsicle: Sprite, candied orange syrup, and cream topped with a candied orange slice (Non-alcoholic)
  • Lavender Mimosa: Chandon California Sparkling Wine and lavender syrup (Available during breakfast only)
  • Orange Juice Mimosa: Chandon California Sparkling Wine and orange juice (Available during breakfast only)
  • Bloody Mary: Tito’s Homemade Vodka and Cutwater Bloody Mary Mix with a bacon and celery garnish (Available during breakfast only)
  • Peach Pie Margarita: Patron Tequila Silver, peach purée, sweet and sour mix, lime juice, and lime garnish 
  • Chandon California Sparkling Wine (Available during breakfast only)
  • Fess Parker Winery Chardonnay
  • Silver Palm Wines Cabernet Sauvignon
  • Michelob ULTRA Light Lager
  • Golden Road Brewing Ride On 10 Hop Hazy IPA

River Belle Terrace: What’s New

Known for a menu of Southern-inspired cuisine, River Belle Terrace is a favorite in Frontierland. With riverfront views and a selection of hearty options for brunch and dinner, here you’ll find plenty of comfort food to dine on. Below, take a look at the new items joining the lineup.

New Food Items at River Belle Terrace

  • Warm Bacon & Spinach Salad: Bacon vinaigrette, heirloom cherry tomatoes, and cheese curds (Available for brunch only)
  • American Breakfast: Scrambled eggs, apple wood smoked bacon, breakfast sausage, house fries, and a biscuit (Available for brunch only)
  • Signature Pancakes: Pumpkin-spiced pancakes for the fall season (Available for brunch only)
  • Roasted Summer Squash: Heirloom tomato sauce, heritage grains succotash, greens, and tofu (Available for brunch and dinner)
  • Chicken Pot Pie Soup: Chicken, carrots, celery, and onion (Available for dinner only)
  • Pork Chop: Buttery mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables, and bourbon-apple sauce (Available for dinner only) 
  • Blackened Sustainable Fish with tartar sauce and pickled vegetables served with house fries (Available for dinner only) 
  • BBQ Brisket Burnt Ends Pasta: Pappardelle pasta, caramelized onions, and wild mushroom (Available for dinner only) 
  • Chocolate Chip Cookie (Available for dinner only)
  • Plant-based Ice Cream, with seasonal topping available upon request (Available for dinner only)

New Beverages at River Belle Terrace 

  • Mississippi Mud Pie: Sprite, chocolate fudge syrup, and cream topped with
  • whipped cream and crumbled chocolate cream cookies (Non-alcoholic) 
  • Wildberry Mule: Tito’s Handmade Vodka, blackberry purée, lime, and ginger syrup and blackberries 
  • Nielson Wines Chardonnay
  • Meiomi Wines Pinot Noir
  • Modelo Especial Mexican Lager 
  • Smog City Brewing’s Sabre-Toothed Squirrel Hoppy American Amber Ale

Cafe Orleans: What’s New

With a whole host of dishes and drinks that are inspired by the cuisine of New Orleans, Cafe Orleans is a must-visit dining spot inside Disneyland’s New Orleans Square. It pays homage to the French Quarter with an exciting lineup of new bites and sips – so take a look below to see which new items will make this classic a must-visit.

New Food Items at Cafe Orleans

Note that these food items are available through November 9, 2023:

  • Potato & Sausage Soup: Marbled potatoes, caramelized leeks, and Grana Padano cheese
  • Vanilla Crème Brûlée with Palmier and fresh berries (Plant-based) 
  • Haunted Mansion Candle and Heart Dessert: Vanilla chip mousse on a pecan pie cookie with mixed berry compote 

New Beverages at Cafe Orleans 

  • Bayou Punch: Minute Maid Lemonade Zero Sugar, orange juice, strawberry purée, blueberry syrup, and an alligator-shaped gummy (Non-alcoholic)
  • House Hurricane: Pimm’s No. 1 Liqueur, Bacardi Superior Rum, orange juice, strawberry purée, sweet and sour mix, simple syrup, and orange garnish 
  • McBride Sisters Chardonnay
  • Mirassou Wines Pinot Noir
  • Karl Strauss Brewing Company Follow the Sun Blonde Ale
  • Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. Hazy Little Thing IPA
