As a member of our extended Disney family, we wanted to let you in on something pretty exciting.

Effective January 2021, Stephanie Shuster will assume the role of CEO of WDW Magazine and Danny Shuster will continue to serve as Creative Director, while they carry on the publication’s legacy to infinity and beyond.

After leading WDW Magazine since 2013, founder Carl Trent has announced his retirement and handpicked us as his successors to take over ownership of the magazine.

If you’ve been a part of our community for a while, you’ve likely read our columns, connected with us online or even met us in-person at the parks.

Steph has been with WDW Magazine from the very first issue seven years ago. Three years ago, Danny led the redesign and launch of the magazine’s first print edition.

As the Magazine’s new owners, we’ll oversee the day-to-day responsibilities of running the publication. We’ll also start rolling out the big, magical, “WOW!”-inducing ideas that we hope will take the magazine to the next level!

We want you to know that even with this change in ownership, our core values are still the same ones WDW Magazine were founded on.

WDW Magazine will always be a visual delight for true Disney fanatics. With captivating content and park photography so vivid, you’ll swear you can hear the Dapper Dans harmonizing and smell the freshly made popcorn on Main Street, U.S.A. as you turn every page.

Because let’s be real. Sometimes the world around us (especially nowadays) can feel a little villainous. Like a sinister sea witch has stolen your voice. Or like you’ve lost your identity among a box of shiny new toys. Or that feeling of trying to find your place or way home.

In those moments, WDW Magazine has been and will always be an escape to your happy place—a magic carpet ride from the dullness of the everyday to the vibrancy of the Most Magical Place on Earth.

Taking on the role of leading the company we’ve worked so hard to build wouldn’t be possible without the support of readers like you. Every time you leave us a comment on our social media pages or gush about your favorite issue, you’re helping us shape the future of WDW Magazine. We can’t wait to hear what you want to see more of!
