Staying at Disney’s Contemporary Resort soon? You’ll want to check out these new food options available at Contempo Café!

If you love to see new items on the menu at Disney World, August has been a good month! Already we’ve seen new Halloween treats, a new menu at the Artist Palette at Disney’s Saratoga Springs, as well as new treats still to come for World Princess Week. And starting tomorrow, August 16th, new menu items will be arriving at Contempo Café at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.

New Food at Contempo Café

Starting on August 16th, you can pick up new breakfast, lunch and dinner, and dessert options at Contempo Café, which is the quick-service restaurant located in the Contemporary Resort. We’re sharing your guide to everything new that will be starting this week!

New Breakfast Options at Contempo Café

For breakfast, there are two new options coming! You can pick from a Minnie Cinnamon Roll, which is dipped in white chocolate and looks oh-so cute!

The other new breakfast option is a little more savory, and that’s the Breakfast Flatbread.

New Lunch and Dinner Options at Contempo Café

For lunch and dinner, you can pick up a returning favorite that’s been given an update — the Four-Cheese Grilled Cheese & Tomato-Basil Soup. There’s also the new Spicy Chicken Sandwich, fried chicken breast with pepper jack, chipotle rémoulade, arugula, seasoned tomato, and dill pickle chips on a brioche bun.

Starting at 4 PM, you can also pick up the Signature Rice Bowls. These bowls are cilantro-lime rice, black beans, street corn, avocado, pico de gallo, carrot, and pickled red onion, which can be topped with either grilled shrimp, braised beef, grilled chicken, or plant-based crispy tofu.

New Dessert Options at Contempo Café

As for dessert, there are six new ones! The Monorail S’more Brownie is a fudgy brownie with a graham cracker crust topped with marshmallow crème and a chocolate Monorail. Then there’s the 5-Legged goat Fruit Tart, inspired by the Mary Blair Grand Canyon Concourse mural at the hotel. This is a vanilla tart shell filled with raspberry-lemon curd and topped with fresh fruit and lemon whipped cream.

Continuing with the Contemporary theming, there’s The Incredibles-inspired Jack-Jack Cookie Num Nums Cupcake. The chocolate cupcake is topped with chocolate chip cookie dough mousse.

Or, there are a handful of new Signature Deluxe Cookies, including a Chocolate Chunk Cookie with peanut butter buttercream, a Churro Cookie with cinnamon buttercream, and Kitchen Sink Cookie, a chocolate chip cookie with salted caramel, Mickey chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, butterscotch, and walnuts. Additionally, there will be a seasonal sugar cookie that rotates throughout the year.
