A new Muppets Haunted Mansion special is coming to Disney Plus this fall.
With the recent release of our Haunted Mansion Attraction Special, you probably guessed that the team here at WDW Magazine could recite that stretching room script in our sleep.
We’re also Gonzo-level weirdos—we love everything Kermit has ever struggled to get The Muppets to make.
So you know we were excited to hear the news…
Muppets Haunted Mansion
An all-new Muppets special is coming to Disney Plus this fall, and they are headed into one of the creepiest, scariest, most cobweb-laden homes this side of the Seven Seas Lagoon.
Yep, they took Manhattan, they’ve sailed to Treasure Island, and now, it’s time for one fuzzy spooktacular.
But we’ll let Pepe and Gonzo fill you in. This is worth watching, just to hear Pepe try to say the name of the film:
What could possess The Muppets to go in there?
I mean we do all the time, but we know that Doom Buggy is on a one-way trip back out!
Haunted Mansions Around the World
Does any of this make you want to go inside Haunted Mansion like… right now?
Well, you’re in luck. To celebrate the announcement of Muppets Haunted Mansion, Uncle Deadly is here to lead you on an interactive choose-your-own-adventure tour.
Uncle Deadly first appeared on The Muppet Show in 1976 alongside Vincent Price (well that adds up). But you likely recognize him as one of the villains from the 2011 film, The Muppets.
He’s a reformed villain, but still kinda creepy, so he’s the perfect choice to act as Ghost Host alongside Disney Imagineers as they peek into the secrets of each Haunted Mansion.
We’re gonna lower that safety bar for you. Here’s Deadly!
Halfway to Halloween
This special tour of Haunted Mansion is part of Disney’s Halfway to Halloween, a no-pressure spooky way to celebrate all things creepy in May!
Only 177 Days till Halloween!
Disney also just dropped a new line of Halloween trends, spooky snacks this May at Disney Springs, and some more surprises you won’t want to miss.
