In the MCU, storylines evolve at superhuman speed – but you don’t have to miss a single epic moment. Keep reading below to catch up on the latest episode!
Who Is Ms. Marvel?

Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani) is a 16-year-old Pakistani-American girl attending high school in Jersey City. When she’s not in school, she can be found gushing about superheroes like Captain Marvel and Spiderman with her friends or writing superhero fan fiction at home.
That’s right – Ms. Marvel is a certified superhero nerd (I can say that – I’m one too)! Imagine her surprise when one day, she’s absorbed into a Terrigen mist and turned into a polymorph.
Now armed with an expansive list of superpowers, she must navigate a world of superheroes, villains, and (perhaps most importantly) family!
Ms. Marvel Episode 4 Recap: Seeing Red

Episode four of Ms. Marvel takes viewers all the way to Pakistan, where Kamala and her mother (Zenobia Shroff) are welcomed by her cousins and grandmother, Nani Sana (Samina Ahmad). Just as Kamala shares tension with her mother, Muneeba shares the same with her own mother, Nani Sana – but the family is happy to be reunited regardless.
At Sana’s house, she discusses the significance of their bangles with Kamala. She explains to her granddaughter that she is a Djinn, casually chalking it up to genetics. She urges Kamala to decipher the meaning of the previous episode’s vision of the train, reassuring her that they will figure it out together.
Kamala explores Pakistan, meeting with more of her family and enjoying what the marketplace has to offer. She witnesses the real-life effects of Partition, moved by both the trauma and beauty that lies in the Pakistani streets.
Afterward, she goes to the train station to investigate her vision. When she gets there, she meets Kareem – also known as “Red Dagger,” who battles with her until they figure out they’re actually fighting for the same side.

Kareem takes her to the Red Daggers’ hideout, explaining that the Red Daggers are an ancient organization that protects people from supernatural forces.
At the hideout, the leader of the Red Daggers, Waleed (Farhan Akhtar) explains that Aisha and the ClanDestines are from another dimension. He goes on to tell her that the “wall of Noor” acts as a barrier between this realm and the ClanDestine dimension, and that the ClanDestine will destroy their world if the wall opens.

But how do they open it? With Kamala’s bangle!
In the United States, the ClanDestine are held at the Department of Damage Control – but not for long! They escape, but not before leaving Kamran (Rish Shah) behind as punishment for helping Kamala.

They quickly find Kamala in Pakistan – attacking her, Kareem, and Waleed at the hideout! Struggling to overcome the duo and retrieve the bangle, the battle moves onto the streets where Kamala struggles to protect bystanders.
In a gut-wrenching moment, Waleem is killed by Najma (Nimra Bucha). But Najma doesn’t stop here – despite Kamala showing far more control over her powers, Najma ruthlessly plunges a knife into her bangle!
This critical move sucks Kamala back into the vision she saw of the train – but this time, it’s no vision! In a sea of desperate families struggling to board the last train to Karachi, Kamala finds herself in Partition-era India.
Lost in time, Ms. Marvel will have to brave this journey alone.

Phew – this superhero stuff is no joke! Kamala’s life has been turned upside down by her new abilities, and she’s gotten a taste of what it’s really like to be a superhero. I may be a superhero nerd, but I think I’ll leave the world-saving to the professionals.
