A quartet of fan-favorite experiences will be revving back up very soon with more Walt Disney World entertainment reopening. Next month, you’ll be able to revisit four popular attractions that have been temporarily closed for the past year.
As if August wasn’t already shaping up to be a busy time at WDW Resort, Disney announced Wednesday that the following four experiences are reopening next month:
- Wonderful World of Animation (Hollywood Studios) – Aug. 1
- Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor (Magic Kingdom) – Aug. 8
- Beauty and the Beast – Live on Stage (Hollywood Studios) – Aug. 15
- Turtle Talk with Crush (EPCOT) – Aug. 21

Wonderful World of Animation Reopening Aug. 1
At long last, the Wonderful World of Animation nighttime experience comes alive once more beginning Aug. 1. Gather outside the Chinese Theater and take an incredible trip through nearly a century of Disney animation with cutting-edge projection mapping.
Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor Reopening Aug. 8
The following week, on Aug. 8, get ready to split your sides with Monster of Ceremonies Mike Wazowski at the Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor at Magic Kingdom. This interactive comedy show is good, clean fun for the whole family.
Beauty and the Beast – Live on Stage Reopening Aug. 15
On Aug. 15, a tale as old as time will be told again at Theater of the Stars on Sunset Boulevard. Beauty and the Best – Live on Stage brings one of the most beloved Disney stories to life with Hollywood-quality costuming and scenery and all the songs you know by heart.
Turtle Talk with Crush Reopening Aug. 21
Ever wanted to consult the wisdom of a sea turtle? You’ll have your chance starting Aug. 21 with the reopening of Turtle Talk with Crush at EPCOT. Use the hydrophone and ask Crush any questions that come to your mind.
With the relaunch of these four entertainment experiences, Walt Disney World Resort continues to ramp up toward its 50th anniversary celebration. On Oct. 1, The World’s Most Magical Celebration kicks off with the new Disney Enchantment and Harmonious nighttime spectaculars.
