Minnie’s Holiday Dine 2021 at Hollywood Studios is a must-do for any fan of Christmas at Disney World.

If you’re like me, you are already listening to Christmas music. Maybe you’re like Disney World and magically transform from Halloween to Christmas in less than 12 hours (find out how they do that in our December issue). Heck, maybe you have a Disney-themed tree in your house!

The point is, if you’re a fan of Christmas, Disney World, and, most importantly, Christmas at Disney World, you’ll want to check out Minnie’s Holiday Dine at Hollywood Studios.

What Is Minnie’s Holiday Dine?

Minnie’s Holiday Dine is a character meal at the Hollywood & Vine restaurant at Hollywood Studios. This is the only character meal that is 100% fully themed for the holidays—from the seriously festive character costumes to the holiday food, and music.

As a Christmas lover who has indulged in a holiday movie or two before it’s even time to trick-or- treat, going to this meal is a must-do during a Walt Disney World Christmas trip.

Our last visit was pre-pandemic so a buffet, character hugs, and seeing someone’s whole face were the norm. But even with revised operations, this holiday character meal will give you all the magical Disney holiday feels.

Characters in Their Holiday Best

What would Mickey and Minnie wear when Christmastime is here? Find out at Minnie’s Holiday Dine.

Currently, the characters ringing in the season are Minnie, Mickey, Pluto, and Santa Goofy.

Minnie wears a sparkly red dress and bow and shiny red shoes.

Mickey feels straight out of White Christmas in a snazzy red jacket, green shirt, and festive saddle shoes. Seriously, those shoes are great.

Pluto is sporting a peppermint candy collar and antlers. Maybe he’s planning to help his pal Santa Goofy.

Santa Goofy is the best part of Minnie’s Holiday Dine in 2021, if you ask me. Of all the characters that could dress as Santa, I love that Disney chose the guy who will try and drive the sleigh with his feet and would probably fall off the roof (insert Wilhelm scream here).

Santa Goofy giving jolly hugs is one more reason we all need to be wishing on stars and adding character hugs to our list for Santa.

A note on COVID: Everyone has to stay seated when the characters are around for Minnie’s Holiday Dine in 2021. Hakuna Matata, they have perfected the art of the seasonal selfie.

All I Want for Christmas Is Character Autographs

If I wasn’t too old to sit on Santa’s lap, I’d totally be asking for the return of character hugs and autographs

For now, what’s under the tree for those who have been naughty or nice is a festive card with all the characters’ autographs on one side and Minnie and her tree on the other.

This card is totally deck-the-halls-worthy! If you have a big enough Christmas tree, you could even laminate it and use it as an ornament.

A Not So Silent Night

The music at Minnie’s Holiday Dine puts the characters in the mood to rock around the Christmas tree.

In his snazzy jacket and saddle shoes, Mickey looks like he’s channeling his inner Bing Crosby, especially when he snaps his fingers and dances to the jazzy holiday music.

Goofy has been learning some interpretative dance moves and even mimed a snowball fight at one dinner.

You may want to pack your bowl-full-of-jelly-pants for this meal. Don’t let the shared salad fool you; the bread, dishes with all the trimmings, and desserts are coming.

Currently, there are six different plated options for adults. Keep it real traditional with the Carved Herb-roasted Turkey Breast that comes with mashed potatoes, cornbread stuffing, green beans, gravy, and cranberries.

If you have to clean your plate before opening presents, come hungry. Especially if ordering the Garlic and Cracked Black Pepper Sliced Beef Tenderloin.

Hello, meat sweats!

The other options include Macaroni & Cheese with Shrimp, Pork Loin, Salmon, and Risotto.

Little elves have salmon, beef, turkey or mac & cheese options. They also get to choose two sides and one dessert.

Desserts! There are five dessert options for adults including White Chocolate Cheesecake, Spiced Cherry Cake, Lemon Cake with Fresh Strawberries, and Vanilla Crème Brûlée. There were definitely marshmallows roasting for the last option, Chocolate S’mores Pie dessert.

Sorry, Olaf, there aren’t any giant cookies in the wavy shape of Norway. Cupcakes seem to be a popular treat, though not currently on the menu.

The jolly libations include an EARidescent Sip-a-bration for the 50th and the Magical Beacon Cocktail with a White Elephant-worthy souvenir glow cube.

Celebrate your happy, merry, holly, jolly holiday at Minnie’s Holiday Dine in 2021. Pluto’s peppermint candy collar, Santa Goofy, and Mickey and Minnie’s holly jolly moves, all while tucking into tastes of the season, will make your holidays merry and bright.
