Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire is an evolution of the former Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire. Get our tips on where to stand and how early to get there, as well as what to expect from the new daytime stage show.
On Feb. 25, Magic Kingdom debuted the latest daytime stage show in front of Cinderella Castle, called Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire. The former show, Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire, had not occurred since reopening the park following the COVID shutdown.
If you’re wondering what time Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire happens, where it plays out, and what to expect, you’ve come to the right place.
Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire Showtimes and Location
Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire has five performances every day. You can catch one of four afternoon showings or one final evening showing. Here’s a list of the full Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire showtimes:
- 12:15 PM
- 1:15 PM
- 3:15 PM
- 4:35 PM
- 6:10 PM
In between some of the showtimes, you can also catch the Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade and Mickey’s Celebration Cavalcade.
This new daytime show takes place on the stage in front of Cinderella Castle and runs for about 20 minutes.
Note: Showtimes are subject to change. Because this is an outdoor performance, it can be cancelled due to inclement weather. Always check My Disney Experience for up-to-date showtimes.
Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire Viewing Tips
While you might need hours to stake out your preferred spot for Disney Enchantment on super busy nights, you don’t need to arrive too early for a good spot for Friendship Faire.
Of course, for the best views, you’ll want to be right up front, which means you may need to arrive 15 to 30 minutes ahead of the show. But as long as you don’t have trouble seeing over the tall people ahead of you, there’s really not a bad view from anywhere in front of the castle.
If being packed in like sardines close to the stage is not your idea of a good time, you can even get a good view farther back, all the way up to the Partners statue. The pavement leading up to the stage is on a decline, so it works kind of like stadium-style seating, only standing.
There is no shade in front of the stage at Cinderella Castle, so you actually don’t want to arrive too early on sunny days. Remember your sunscreen!
How New Is This Cinderella Castle Stage Show?
Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire is largely the same as the former Royal Friendship Faire. It does benefit from a new opening and finale and also gets a new, catchy song called “Where the Magic Feels Like Home.”
Otherwise, the show is very similar to Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire. So if you’ve been missing that one, you likely won’t be disappointed by this new one.
Characters in Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire
Mickey and Friends are obviously the stars of the show (and in their new EARidescent costumes no less).
But you can also catch your favorites from:
- Frozen (like Elsa, Anna, and Olaf)
- The Princess and the Frog (Tiana, Naveen, and even Louis!)
- Tangled (Rapunzel and Flynn)
