Here are the 2020 Magic Kingdom Christmas decorations and where to get your perfect holiday photo.
It’s been nary a week since Halloween, so Magic Kingdom Christmas decorations are already up. Even though the Christmas season doesn’t kick off until November 6th, Magic Kingdom just couldn’t wait!
Here is a sneak peek at the decor you can expect at Magic Kingdom in 2020. We were there for the first day of festive decorations in 2020, and we weren’t disappointed with how Mickey’s decked the halls.
Magic Kingdom has special Christmas MagicShots available via their PhotoPass Photographers. Here are some of our favorites that you can ask for by name:
This Zero magic shot has to be the cutest of all the options, especially for those that love Halloween and Christmas!
Main Street, U.S.A.
Outside the gates, we already have a hint of the festive Christmas decorations inside! This is still a great spot for a family photo.
The presents are all under the tree! We are guessing the big ones are for Minnie… from Mickey, of course!
Main Street, U.S.A. is so beautiful year-round, but there’s just something extra special about this time of year.
We love the garlands and boughs set on the buildings around Main Street, U.S.A. The poinsettias are such a welcome sight.
The train station looks so glamorous, towering above. And we will likely see holiday characters waving to guests from here this season.
Here comes a Christmas Cavalcade! Let’s see who’s on it…
Pooh and Friends were around to wave hello and spread a little festive cheer. Their outfits may vary after the holiday season officially settles in.
There they go. And now we have our first view of Cinderella Castle! This is her first year with the new paint job gleaming along with Christmas decor.
The Dreamlights will not be a part of our celebrations this year, in the interest of avoiding crowds and maintaining social distancing.
Even though we will not experience the Dreamlights this year, Cinderella Castle is majestically breathtaking, as usual.
We can’t get enough of these views. Remember just a week ago when this was a Jack o’Lantern? Bibbidi Bobbidi Christmas!
Even garlands on a lamp post aren’t just decoration… they add to every view of the castle to make things merry and bright.
Around the Park
Casey’s Corner is one of the most iconic places to grab a hotdog at Disney World. We consider hotdogs to be a holiday food, right?
In Frontierland, the Country Bears have decorated for Christmas! You can find garlands all throughout this section of the park.
Tomorrowland takes on a kitschy futuristic approach to the holidays! Here you’ll find lots of colorful ornaments and flocked trees.
Over in Adventureland, the Jingle Cruise is in full operation! Take a ride to see the backside of water with a not-so-familiar script.
If you want to stock up on your holiday puns for Christmas Day with the family, this is where you do your research.
