If you’ve been waiting to purchase a Magic Key pass, today is your chance!
Disneyland Resort’s Magic Key program has paused sales since summer 2022 – but if you’ve been longing for the opportunity to become a Magic Key holder, they’re officially back. Disney has announced that sales of new Magic Keys will open on January 17, 2023 starting at 9:00 AM Pacific time.
You won’t want to wait, as Magic Keys tend to sell out fast! Here’s how to take advantage of these recently-resumed sales and get one of these new passes for yourself.
How to Purchase a Magic Key
Head to the Disneyland website to purchase your Magic Key. You’ll need to join a virtual queue, which will give you an estimated wait time. Keep this window open! When it’s your turn to purchase, you’ll be notified here.
Once it’s your turn to enter the site, you’ll have 10 minutes to buy your Magic Key. Make sure you know which option you want beforehand to speed up the process!
It’s important to note that Magic Key pass availability is limited, and simply securing a place in the virtual queue doesn’t mean you’ll necessarily be able to purchase a Magic Key (or the exact Magic Key you’d been hoping for). Additionally, sales of new Magic Keys will pause nightly at 10:00 PM Pacific time. So, if you don’t get your shot right away, you can try again starting the following morning at 9:00 AM Pacific time.
Please note that, due to high demand, Magic Key pass availability is limited and being in the queue does not guarantee the ability to purchase any Magic Key pass.
Which Magic Keys Are Available?
Right now, as of January 17, 2023, the following Magic Keys are available for new purchases, at these prices:
- Inspire: $1,599
- Believe: $1,099
- Imagine: $449 (Southern California Residents only)
Currently, no new Enchant Magic Keys are available. The Enchant is only available for renewals.
