This new Lizzie McGuire makeup collection from Colourpop Cosmetics is seriously What Dreams Are Made Of! Check out the entire drop here!
Yet another Disney drop from Colourpop Cosmetics that Y2K girls are going crazy over! Earlier this year Colourpop Cosments released a Bambi inspired collection for Spring, and now they’re paying tribute to a Disney Channel classic!
Lizzie McGuire has a special place in a lot of millennial’s hearts– mine included! I grew up on Lizzie McGuire, and I remember identifying with her quirky and slightly awkward personality.
Not to mention, Lizzie dropped one of the best albums of my youth that gave us What Dreams Are Made Of.
The Lizzie McGuire movie is one of my favorite nostalgic movies to throw on, and thankfully it’s on Disney+, along with the entire Lizzie McGuire series!
Lizzie’s style is notoriously 2000s and Colourpop Cosmetics captured her entire Y2K vibe and created the grooviest makeup products!
The collection consists of a 12 pan palette, a lip scrub, 4 lip glosses, 2 gel glitters, and 2 powdered blushes, and they are all packaged and decorated with the classic Lizzie McGuire cartoon that narrates Lizzie’s private thoughts in the show.
Here’s the entire collection that has social media totally bugging!
What Dreams are Made of Palette
Hey now, hey now! This is what dreeeeeaaammmmsss are made of!
I think it is the perfect name to call this Lizzie McGuire palette, after all, it’s one of the most iconic moments of the Lizzie McGuire franchise!
I like that these shades are wearable for today’s style, but they also pay homage to the colors that were hip and happening in the early 2000s.
Lip scrub seems to be every beauty guru’s secret to achieving plumper looking lips. Colourpop Cosmetics has great skin care, and I am so excited to try this scrub.
I think lips are something we often overlook in our skincare routine, and this adorable packaging will make adding a lip scrub to your routine easy!
Pressed Powder Blush
There are two shades of blush in this collection, and I like that these hues are more subdued and natural– with just a hint of shimmer.
Lizzie McGuire first aired in 2001 and makeup trends have changed drastically in the past 20 years. These blushes suit the trends of the 2000s, as makeup really focused on achieving a naturally rosy complexion.
These shades will allow you to keep the rosiness in your cheeks but will give you a natural sun kissed look– just like Lizzie and Miranda!
Glitterally Obsessed Glitter Gel
Was there ever a time when glitter wasn’t in? If glitter is wrong, then I don’t want to be right!
Long lasting glitter is so hard to find, but the Glitterally Obsessed is everything you’d want in a glitter gel! The Glitterally Obsessed formula from Colourpop Cosmetics allows a smooth application and long lasting wear.
There are 2 Glitterally Obsessed glitter gels in this collection. One is in Lizzie’s iconic hot pink shade, and the other is a white/clear hue. I have a silver glitter gel from Colourpop and it’s the best thing to add to the top of my eyeshadow look when I want to add an extra pop!
So Juicy Plumping Gloss
Nothing quite says millennial like these lipgloss tubes! I remember buying strawberry scented Lip Smackers that looked almost exactly like this packaging. It’s one of those things that you forget about until you see it again. I love that they chose to recreate that classic Y2K staple for girls!
The lipglosses from Colourpop are one of my favorites to wear. They are lightweight, and always add an extra level of shine and color that can’t be achieved with just a lipstick.
Lizzie McGuire Makeup Collection
This collection will be available on March 26, 2021, exclusively at colourpop!
Just like all of the other Disney X Colourpop collabs, this collection won’t last long. Make sure you order the products that you want ASAP because I have a feeling this collection will be really popular!
