Just announced: New Limited-Time Magic shows, parties, and characters coming to Walt Disney World in 2019!

Limited-Time Magic at Magic Kingdom

Starting January 18th, guests are invited to the Magic Kingdom to celebrate Mickey & Minnie’s Surprise Celebration! This celebration will include new entertainment, merchandise, and food honoring Mickey and Minnie. The highlight of this celebration will be the new “Move It! Shake It! MousekeDance It! Street Party”. Similar to the current “Move It! Shake It! Dance & Play It! Street Party”, the new parade will make its way down Main Street U.S.A. towards Cinderella Castle and encourage guests to get up and dance with their favorite Disney characters. It will feature new modern remixes of favorite “Mickey Mouse Club” melodies. There also will be a few character changes. Joining Mickey and Minnie will be Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy, Pluto, Max, Chip ‘n’ Dale, and more. No word if Nick Wilde or Judy Hopps will stick around, but I’m really excited to see Max Goof on the roster!

From January 18th to September 30th, the Dapper Dans and Casey’s Corner piano player will also being joining the celebration with special musical moments honoring Mickey and Minnie. Also, be on the lookout for additional limited-time magic experiences throughout the park!

Party with Pixar Pals at Hollywood Studios

As Disney’s Hollywood Studios prepares to celebrate it’s 30th anniversary, your favorite Pixar Pals will be there to join the fun! From January 18th to September 30th, Pixar Place will transform into Municiberg from Pixar’s “The Incredibles”. Mr. Incredible, Mrs. Incredible, and Frozone will make appearances throughout the day during a Super fun dance party. Guests will even have the opportunity to meet the iconic Edna Mode at a special meet-and-greet location!


Great news for “Monster’s Inc.” fans! Mike and Sulley will be returning to Hollywood Studios starting January 18th and will be meeting guests in the new Walt Disney Presents meet-and-greet area.

Also announced, Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy will be making its debut Spring 2019!

Celebrating 25 Years of The Lion King at Animal Kingdom

Can you believe “The Lion King” turns 25 next year? That movie was a staple in my household as a kid and I’m so excited to celebrate at Disney’s Animal Kingdom! From January 18th to September 30th, guests can join Timon and Rafiki at the “Hakuna Matata Time Dance Party” at the Discovery Island stage.

Be sure to check out the special 3D “Lion King” photo spots throughout the park where you can recreate iconic scenes from “The Lion King”, perfect for social media!

Artists will showcase their talents during the Epcot International Festival of the Arts, returning Jan. 18-Feb 25, 2019, at Walt Disney World Resort. Dates Announced for 2019 Epcot Festivals

If you love the Epcot festivals as much as I do, then you’ll be pumped for this next announcement! The Epcot International Festival of the Arts is returning from January 18th to February 25th. As a photographer and artist, I’m so happy to see that this event keeps getting bigger and better each year! Also announced, the Disney on Broadway Concert Series will expand to seven days a week during next year’s festival!

Disney also revealed the dates for the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival, which will take place from March 6th to June 3rd. The Garden Rocks Concert Series will also expand to seven days a week, which is the news I’m most excited for! I can’t wait to see what new artists and returning favorites will be in the lineup next year!

What Limited-Time Magic experience are you looking forward to most next year? I can’t wait to see Max in the “Move It! Shake It! MousekeDance It! Street Party”! He’s one of my favorite Disney characters and I’m so happy to see him being incorporated into more park experiences. I’m also excited that Mike and Sulley will be returning to Hollywood Studios. Looks like 2019 will be a fantastic year at the parks with lots of new things to experience!
