Air Canada has announced a sponsorship of the rebranded La Poutinerie, which appears to take over for the previous Refreshment Port in EPCOT.
In January, Refreshment Port in EPCOT closed for a refurbishment, with no details or timeframe on when it would be reopening. Now, thanks to an announcement from Air Canada, we have a new glimpse at what the future of the location will look like.
La Poutinerie Hosted By Air Canada
Refreshment Port is a permanent kiosk in World Showcase that has served a variety of soft-serve ice cream treats as well as specialty poutine (typically changing depending on the festival). In new concept art, Air Canada (the official Canadian Airline of Walt Disney World) has announced a new sponsorship deal for the former Refreshment Port. When it reopens, it will be La Poutinerie, hosted by Air Canada.
No details on a date or menu items have been given, but Air Canada did provide this brief description of the new location “A taste of Canada at EPCOT. La Poutinerie, hosted by Air Canada, brings a Canadian classic with a twist.” With that in mind, we expect this will still be the go-to spot for specialty poutine in EPCOT!
We’ll provide more information on the location as it becomes available.
