One of the most popular happy haunts will be appearing in Haunted Mansion starting in November 2023.

If you’ve been eagerly waiting for an update on the possibility of the Hatbox Ghost joining the rest of the ghost hosts at Haunted Mansion in Walt Disney World, get ready: this beloved ghost is coming! According to the Disney Parks and Walt Disney Imagineering Instagram accounts, Hatbox Ghost is officially making his grand appearance at Disney World in November 2023.

While Hatbox Ghost has been wowing (and scaring) Guests at Disneyland since 2015, the famed figure has yet to appear at Disney World’s version of the attraction. Now, Guests will finally have a chance to see this iconic ghost in action on both coasts. See the announcement below!

This big announcement was made on the heels of Disney’s newest film, Haunted Mansion, arriving in movie theaters in July. While fans learned at the 2022 D23 Expo that the Hatbox Ghost would be coming to the Disney World attraction in 2023, that news is finally becoming a reality.

So, what can you expect when the Hatbox Ghost appears inside the Haunted Mansion? At Destination D23, it was revealed that it will debut in November 2023.
