A Magical Castle Proposal

Nikki got to live every Disney lover’s dream proposal when her fiancé placed the engagement ring on her finger in front of Cinderella’s Castle in Magic Kingdom.
The challenge was finding the right place and time to do it. Nikki “was surprised that he didn’t do it at Animal Kingdom” because it was his favorite park.
“There’s a few pictures that [friends] snapped that you can see his hand in his pocket on the ring box,” she adds, “but no matter when he did it, it was going to be perfect!”

Nikki is a self-proclaimed connoisseur of The Country Bear Jamboree. She can tell you each of the character’s names, the backstory behind them, and could probably recite the entire show if you asked!
Her favorite character choice is Big Al over Henry, stating that, “If Henry had a costume character walking around, then I would be inclined to like him more, but I got to do the hoedown with Big Al, so that makes him top tier.”

Nikki spent one year being a part of the Canada Pavilion in the World Showcase, an experience that created lifelong friendships.
“It’s where all my friends were,” she said. “I was incredibly proud to be able to represent my country with so many other wonderful people… Doing the CRP was the best year of my whole life.”

One of her favorite experiences was being able to watch the guests live their Disney experiences.
She said she would simply “go to Hollywood Studios for open, grab breakfast from Trolley Car Café and just sit on the fountain and people watch. So many people on vacation, rushing around all over the place, allowing for a rare opportunity to just sit and take everything in.”

You would be surprised to learn that all of Nikki’s Star Wars and Marvel edits have been completed just with her phone!
What started out as “literally running out of Disney content” manifested because of the need to “keep up with people on this platform”.
“So much of it is trial and error,” she says, as she takes old photos and adds special effects to them through regular apps on her phone.
“It can take anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour” to create one photo edit, and even more for the Marvel filter additions!
The (Self-Proclaimed) Queen of Batuu

As you would expect, Nikki’s love for Star Wars extends to dreaming of living on Batuu, a place that has never been featured in the movies or any series.
For her, she “really liked being able to dress up and explore like [she] was really on another planet. Batuu is a place where you can leave your ‘earth problems’ behind and just immerse yourself in another world.”
