The 2022 EPCOT Paint By Number is a free activity.

If you haven’t yet participated, don’t worry. It’s easy.

Just head over to the Expression Section booth. In 2022, the huge Paint-By-Number wall (a construction wall cleverly doing double duty) is located near The Seas. Hang a right at Spaceship Earth to get creative!

At the Expression Section, you’ll be given a sponge brush and your choice of a few paint cups.

Each paint cup is a different color with a designated number. Choose carefully, because this is the color you will be contributing to the group painting.

Thank the attending Cast Member and queue up for your chance to paint!

Social Distancing

Last year, social distancing measures were in place for paint by number at EPCOT. Photo by Rain Blanken

2022 brings less social distancing than in 2021. Now, outdoor social distancing has been relaxed, so you won’t see separators in place.

Here is reporter, Tina Chiu on January 14, 2022, participating in the free Paint By Number activity at EPCOT:

Once the line advances, you can start painting! You can’t do all the magic though, so leave room for other painters!

Your turn will be over before you know it, so savor your time behind the brush!

The numbered bits you are painting are squares, so they are easy to fill in. Help little ones with the brush if needed, and assist them in recognizing which numbered spaces are theirs to paint.

On the day we went, we were directed to paint just seven squares. This could vary on your visit.

The Finished Product

On your way out, don’t forget to pick up a souvenir bookmark of the finished painting. Can you see it coming together already on the wall?

Stop back by to see all the progress that other guests have made. You created this painting together!
