Wondering how to book Galactic Starcruiser before the general public? If you fall into one of a few select categories, you’ll be able to book your voyage early.

On Oct. 1, which marked Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary, Disney announced that general booking for Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser would open on Oct. 28 with a maiden voyage launching on March 1. Despite insanely high prices for a two-night stay at this immersive, Star Wars-themed stationary cruise into a cruise in a galaxy far, far away, I’d be willing to bet all my Imperial credit that this thing books up FAST.

That’s led many to want to get ahead of the crowd and book their stay early. But how?

Booking Early: Golden Oak and Club 33

Though the general public has to wait until Oct. 28 to begin booking voyages on Galactic Starcruiser, Disney announced a special perk for Golden Oak residents and members of the exclusive (and expensive) Club 33: early reservations.

Starting yesterday, Oct. 5, Club 33 members and Golden Oak residents have been able to book their stay on Galactic Starcruiser. This presale window is only open through the end of day today (Oct. 6).

Booking Early: DVC and Annual Passholders

But you don’t have to be part of a super exclusive club to get an early reservation. At least, not as exclusive as Club 33.

That’s because starting tomorrow, eligible Disney Vacation Club (DVC) members and Annual Passholders will have their own special pre-sale window for voyages from March 1 through May 4, 2022. (And who the heck wouldn’t want to be on a Star Wars-themed ship on May the 4th?)

Disney did not make it clear who qualifies as an “eligible” DVC member or Annual Passholder, but on the AP side of things, it might depend on the tier of pass you selected (Pixie Dust, Pirate, Sorcerer, or Incredi-Pass).

The special presale window for this group runs from Oct. 7 through Oct. 9.

As of now, Disney has not announced any other presales.

Booking Early: Disney Visa Cardholders

The latest opportunity to book Galactic Starcruiser early comes to Disney Visa Cardholders. Early booking is available to these cardholders Oct. 12 through Oct. 16 for most voyages from March 1 through Sept. 30, 2022.

How to Book Galactic Starcruiser

If you are not a member of any of these exclusive groups, you will have to wait until Oct. 28 to book your voyage on Galactic Starcruiser. On that date, log on to My Disney Experience or the Disney website. Under Places to Stay, you will be able to find the Galactic Starcruiser as you would any other Disney hotel.

Remember: This is a three-day, two-night itinerary. You’ll have three cabin types to choose from, and meals are included. So when you see that price tag, try not to have as much sticker shock. Everything’s included!
