WHY I LOVE MY JOB

Let’s skip the obvious, I LOVE DISNEY (insert heart emojis here), and move on to why I decided to join Destinations To Travel. First off, I was already acting as a Disney travel agent for my friends and family.

They came to me for advice on when to go, where to stay, what tickets to buy, and where they should eat.

I was typing out lists of fun things they needed to do at WDW (seriously, if you’re not playing Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom, you should be) and mapping the route from their baggage claim to Magical Express. TOTAL. DISNEY. DORK.

WHAT I HATE TO HEAR

The second reason why I became a travel agent,

“I’ll never be able to afford a trip to Walt Disney World!”

So many people feel that way because they don’t know how to plan, budget, apply discounts, and book their vacations!

Being a licensed travel agent meant I could tell MORE people how they could get their families to WDW.

My heart is happy when I get photos and videos of families celebrating their time together, and knowing a little piece of that magic started with me. Full disclosure, I still cry happy tears when one of my Guests leaves on their Disney vacation.

WORKING IN TRAVEL RIGHT NOW

We are gearing up for an incredible amount of vacation planning! This year we were restricted by COVID, and almost everyone has been waiting to travel.

That means vacationers are booking ahead into 2021 and even 2022

All those postponed trips, canceled family vacations, and delayed honeymoons are still going to happen, and we’ll be busier than we’ve ever been!

And if you love Disney as much as I do, you’re ready to start bringing back all the magic we’ve been missing out on!

DON’T JUST TAKE IT FROM ME

I asked my fellow D2T agents what made them decide to work at Destinations To Travel. This crew truly LOVES what they do, and this is what Tiffany and Carolyn had to say:

“I began to catch on that I was the go-to person for Disney vacations among my friends, family, and colleagues.

I helped plan every detail—down to turn-by-turn itineraries for first-timers… and I found that I truly LOVED planning Disney vacations.

If I’m being honest, I enjoyed planning other people’s trips just as much (if not more than) I enjoyed planning my own!” – Tiffany Dobraski,  As (Disney) Dreamers Do

“I love every element of vacation planning! I love the anticipation. I love the achievement of the successful and completely enjoyable vacation.

After visiting Walt Disney World many times and it was clear to others I was a huge fan, many would ask me what job I’d want if I worked there. I’m sure they expected me to say ‘Cinderella’ or ‘Snow White!’ But no. My answer was always ‘I want to be the person that answers the phone to help you plan your wonderful vacation!'”- Carolyn Tiberi, Best! Day! Ever! With Carolyn
