An exciting new spooky season offering is coming to Hong Kong Disneyland Resort! Disney has revealed that this fall, Disney villains will take over the resort for Halloween Time, transforming the resort into the hottest party spot in town for the season. From September 16 to October 31, 2023, you’ll have the chance to check out a whole host of new entertainment, treats, and character encounters themed just for the most frightening time of the year.

Cruella de Vil Hosts the House of De Vil-lains Halloween House Party

For Halloween Time at Hong Kong Disneyland in 2023, Cruella de Vil from Disney’s 101 Dalmatians is taking charge. Cruella is gathering all of her darlings together to throw a wickedly fun Halloween house party called House of De Vil-lains.
For House of De Vil-lains, Guests can wear their most mischievous attire and celebrate spooky season with some of Disney’s most beloved (and feared!) villains. Cruella will take over The Pavilion and transform it into a party hot spot, with all of the villains invited along for the fun. Guests will enjoy a devilish DJ along with wicked refreshments prepared by Horace and Jasper (Cruella’s trusty henchmen).
Guests also won’t want to miss the onsite photographers who’ll snap photos and turn your devilish looks into a magazine cover. Oh, and there will be face painting, temporary tattoos, and even outrageous effects to make every villain-inspired outfit even better. During the party, Cruella and her fellow villains will perform a wicked spectacle with an original number, and Guests will get to participate in a mini fashion show.
Throughout House of De Vil-lains, Guests will have the chance to meet various villains in person. The guest list includes classic characters like The Queen from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, the Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland, Hades from Hercules, Ursula from The Little Mermaid, Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty, and of course the hostess herself, Cruella.

During Halloween Time at Hong Kong Disneyland, the award-winning “Let’s Get Wicked” musical takes place at the Theater in the Wild. You don’t want to miss the chance to catch a performance! Featuring villains like Maleficent, Ursula, Dr. Facilier from The Princess and the Frog, Gaston from Beauty and the Beast, and Mother Gothel from Tangled, this show features spectacular audiovisual elements, incredible lighting effects, and of course some amazingly diabolical costumes.
Enjoy Jack Skellington’s The Nightmare Before Dinner

If you’re looking for a frightfully fun Halloween-inspired dining experience, look no further than Jack Skellington’s The Nightmare Before Dinner. This event, which takes place at the River View Cafe, is an annual tradition at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort. Jack and the inhabitants of Halloween Town introduce Guests to their unique (and totally bizarre!) dining etiquette in a combination meal and show.
During The Nightmare Before Dinner, you’ll be able to create your very own poison drink and dine on favorites of Halloween Town residents – like Sally’s Worm’s Wort Soup. As you dine, Jack, Sally, and even Oogie Boogie will greet you. Oh, and keep a close eye on any photos taken during the experience; it’s common for surprises to pop up!
Dance Along With “Mickey’s Halloween Time Street Party!”
Considered the ultimate Halloween celebration at Hong Kong Disneyland, “Mickey’s Halloween Time Street Party features Mickey and all of his pals in a thrilling seasonal procession. Set to Halloween music, Mickey, Duffy, ShellieMay, Gelatoni, and LinaBell – plus Vampirina and Princess Sofia – don dazzling outfits and celebrate spooky season with Guests.
See Even More Characters in the Wicked Fun Party Zone
While you’re visiting Hong Kong Disneyland, make sure to stop by Adventureland during Halloween Time if you’re interested in catching villains out and about. Here, you’ll find the Wicked Fun Party Zone, where you can meet Maleficent and The Queen (and even compete for the wickedest poses possible!).
In the park, you’ll also be able to meet Lotso, Lady Tremaine and her daughters, Anastasia and Drizella, Loki and other Disney villains. And you’ll find some mischievous characters along with the villains, like Stitch and Angel in their first-ever Halloween-themed outfits. Of course, Mickey and Friends as well as Duffy and Friends will also be decked out for the holiday.
As you travel through the Wicked Fun Party Zone, you’ll want to take advantage of the candy, too. Here, you’ll find a traditional candy hunt (including trick-or-treat bags) spread across the park. Different character-shaped pumpkin heads will let you know where the candy is located!
