Lightsabers, camera, action figures! Get ready for your close up at our favorite Hollywood Studios photo spots.

If Disney has acquired it, Hollywood Studios is the park to visit it. Pixar Place, Toy Story Land, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, and Grand Avenue, home of the Muppets, all call Hollywood Studios home.

In these lands you can immerse yourself with shops, attractions, food and, of course, photos. Practice your red-carpet pose because we’ve got 11 click-worthy spots around Hollywood Studios.

11 Best Hollywood Studios Photo Spots

You’ll want some props and a camera co-pilot for the best photo spots at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

1. Terrified in Front of the Tower, Sunset Boulevard

Pics in front of Tower of Terror are one of my favorite spots because it changes so much from day to night and season to season. Disney PhotoPass photographers are often in the area to take these pics and can suggest different poses and sometimes have props.

During the holidays the backdrop is even more beautiful when Sunset Season’s Greetings is playing. We made friends with a superfun Cast Member that took this pic for us. He was so great we had to get a pic of him!

But the reason this is my #1 Hollywood Studios spot is because of this photo.

This was from a family trip in 2015 and was the inspiration for the cover art of my first book. It was writing that book that eventually led me to writing for WDW Magazine and this blog. It all comes full circle!

2. Muppets Wall, Grand Avenue

Do you have a character you remember loving from your childhood? For me it was always the science-loving Muppet, Beaker.

Whether it was Beaker and Dr. Bunsen Honeydew testing the latest invention from Muppet Labs or as an adorable little friend in an oversized blue shirt in the cartoon version of Muppet Babies. Whenever I hear Beaker’s squeak, I’m a kid again watching Saturday morning cartoons with a bowl of Cap’n Crunch.

Head towards Grand Avenue and Stage 1 Company Store. This store is packed with Muppets memorabilia and some Muppet merch.

Grab a prop, your favorite lab assistant, and head around the side of the building to find the paint-splattered Muppet Wall. The space is colorful, but not so selfie-friendly.

3. Family Movie Night, Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant

How many people in your Disney crew have ever been to a drive-in movie?

If you can get into Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater, you’ll get to munch on burgers and shakes while sitting in a car watching old trailers of Sci Fi movies.

Can’t get a reservation? Climb in the car just outside the restaurant for a great family photo spot.

4. Speeder Bike, Near Star Tours

Around the corner from Sci-Fi Dine-In is another vehicle photo spot, the Speeder Bike from Star Wars.

You won’t need an Ewok to steal this bike for your photo op. It’s just across from Star Tours. Can’t find it? it may be hiding behind some fellow guests. It does seem to be a popular spot for guests to rest their feet!

5. AT-AT, Entrance to Star Tours

One of the most out of this world Star Wars photo ops is not in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

The All Terrain Armored Transport (AT-AT) is just outside the entrance of Star Tours. It’s a spot to visit both day and night. To get this photo, you’ll need a co-pilot who is willing to lay down for a picture.

Give Star Tours a chance! It’s a classic so take a trip before riding Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance.

6. Millenium Falcon, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

Want even more Star Wars vehicles? Travel to Batuu in Galaxy’s Edge and head towards the giant Millennium Falcon.

This is a must-do photo both day and night. During the day it’s a great spot for props, like the Thermal Detonator Coca-Cola bottles, only found in Galaxy’s Edge.

It’s the souvenir that may result in you getting a little extra TSA scrutiny, but also totally reusable as a conversation-worthy water bottle once home. Disney PhotoPass photographers frequent this area and you’ll want them or a friend for capturing this shot.

At night the entire land transforms and this photo op is even more impressive. This nighttime shot with lightsabers is even more epic, but my son and I were just not that cool!

7. Incredible Wall, Pixar Place

It’s time to leave one franchise and head to the world of Pixar. Feeling super? Visit Metroville at Pixar Place.

This area is sprinkled with photo spots! Keep your eyes peeled to find all the Jack-Jack statues and proof that the baby with not one, not two but 17 different powers has been getting into mischief.

This area does seem to keep odd hours and is not open everyday. It’s worth checking when you’re heading to Toy Story Land. If the gates to Metroville are open, make sure to explore all the way to the end to find the hiding space of Jack-Jack’s furry nemesis.

8. Popsicle Wall, Toy Story Land

To the Popsicle Wall and beyond! It’s time to get your photo finger ready for all the pics in Andy’s backyard.

This is one of a few Instagram famous photo walls in Toy Story Land. Find the Popsicle Wall by entering the exit of Toy Story Mania and heading about halfway to the ride building. When you spot the Checkerboard Wall, you’re there! You will need your favorite sidekick to get the best shot.

9. Pixar Ball, Toy Story land

You’ve got a friend with you? Stick together and see it through ’cause you’ve got more photo spots in Toy Story Land. Thankfully Andy really didn’t clean up his toys before your visit– They’re thrown all over the yard and you can get up close to capture your picture.

You can’t lift the Pixar ball, but can look like a goof trying while your friend clicks  away.

10. A Cookie and a Green Army Man, Toy Story Land

Andy playing wouldn’t be complete without Green Army Men. And a kid’s gotta eat, and a giant Hamm cookie is the perfect snack. Find the giant holiday Hamm cookie between the exit of Toy Story Mania and Andy’s Lunchbox during the holiday season. Peek behind Ham to find a green friend!

In 2021, Toy Story Land didn’t have holiday decorations, but we are hoping the decorations and the Hamm cookie will return in 2022.

11. Andy’s Footprint, Toy Story Land

Either start your photo tour of Toy Story Land early, or plan to stay late to get this last photo spot, you and Andy’s big footprint.

The footprints are actually all around Toy Story Land but some are easier than others to capture without crowds. Sadly, no selfies for this one. They don’t need to be bigger or stronger but you will need to have a friend to get this shot.
