Ready to experience all the thrills that Disney World has to offer? You can find exciting attractions, entertainment, dining options, and merchandise in each of the four Disney World theme parks, with each one offering its own unique take. Over in EPCOT, you can experience thrills that include a journey into space, a trip to Arendelle, and even a ride around the world! To help you better plan your trip, we’re sharing the biggest thrills you can experience right now in EPCOT.

Attraction Thrills at EPCOT

Whether it’s fighting bad guys with the Guardians of the Galaxy or taking a journey around the world, you’ll find no lack of thrills at EPCOT to enjoy! We’re sharing a few of the top picks for thrilling rides you can find at EPCOT in Disney World.

Test Track

Located in Future World, you can head over to the Chevrolet Design Center to create your own virtual concept car. After that? You get to ride it! Get ready to ride in a 6-passenger “SIM Car” for a thrilling ride on Test Track. You’ll experience rough roads, high speeds, and various obstacles along the way as you make your way through the performance test for your car.

Soarin’ Around the World

Take the trip around the world, all from EPCOT! At Soarin’ Around the World you’ll take an exhilarating ride high in the air, sitting with a close-up view of a 80-foot IMAX digital projection dome that will share breathtaking views from around the globe. Take in iconic locations like Mount Kilimanjaro, the Great Wall of China, and more, as you take the journey of a lifetime.

The Seas With Nemo & Friends

Hop aboard a “clam-mobile” and enjoy a journey into the sea! Along the way in this family-friendly attraction, you’ll get to meet real sealife, positioned alongside your favorite characters from Finding Nemo. After your journey, make sure to pick up a complimentary scavenger hunt booklet near the exit so that you can take a self-guided scavenger hunt through the aquarium!

Frozen Ever After

Head over to the Norway Pavilion for a chance to journey into Arendelle to celebrate the “Summer Snow Day” with Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, Sven, and Olaf! The relaxing boat ride not only allows you to meet your favorite characters, but also features several songs from the movie. Fans of Frozen won’t want to miss the one!

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind

EPCOT’s newest ride is Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. The attraction is full of thrills, featuring the firest ever reverse-launch on a DIsney coaster! The fully-enclosed coaster has you riding alongside Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. To make it even more thrilling, your ride will feature one of a selection of songs — and the song will change each time you ride!

Thrilling Entertainment at EPCOT

From exciting festivals to the chance to meet your favorite Disney characters, there is no lack of entertainment at EPCOT. Along with year-round entertainment, you will also be able to take in the thrills of festival-specific entertainment available at EPCOT!

2023 EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival Topiaries

One of the most beloved parts of the EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival is the character topiaries you can find around the park. This year there are a few new faces you can meet, including Mirabel and other characters from Encanto and the main entrance, and Tiana over at the American Adventure Pavilion!

Character Meet-and-Greets

Meet your favorite characters in EPCOT, including Disney Princesses such as Snow White, Belle, Mulan, and Jasmine. You can also meet Anna and Elsa at the Royal Sommehaus at the Norway Pavilion, and Alice and Mary Poppins the gardens of the UK Pavilion. You can also meet characters like Mickey, Donald, Vanellope, and Joy at designated locations. There are so many character you can have special interactions with, only at EPCOT!

The Train Village in Germany Pavilion

Over in the Germany Pavilion, you’ll find something very special. The Train Village is a model village with a working model train and lots of little details. One of the most fun details to look for is the season change that happens with the model village banners — you’ll notice that they change with each festival!

Disney Duck Tales World Showcase Adventure on Play Disney Parks Mobile App

Open up your Disney Parks Play app to play the Disney Duck Tales World Showcase Adventure! Using the app, you can uncover hidden details throughout the World Showcase Pavilions to complete these themed quests.

Voices of Liberty in the American Adventure Pavilion

Take in a performance from the incredibly talented Voices of Liberty acapella group! You can find the group in the rotunda at the American Adventure Pavilion, where they put on 15-minute performances several times throughout the day.

Merchandise Highlights at EPCOT

  • Treasures of Xandar: Located at Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, the shop sells vintage-inspired collectibles that feature the Guardians of the Galaxy.
  • Creations Shop: At Creations Shop you’ll be able to find EPCOT mementos and memorabilia to bring home with you. You’ll also be able to find festival merchandise here!
  • Ayoka Pearls in the Japan Pavilion: Here you can choose an oyster, pick a ring or necklace of your choosing, and watch as a Cast Member creates an incredibly unique piece of pearl jewelry for you!
  • World Showcase Pavilion Shops: Located in each country’s pavilion, each shop allows you to learn about different cultures as you show for global-inspired items and collectibles. Plus, you’ll be able to find collections that feature characters unique to each country!
  • Art of Disney: Located at the American Adventure Pavilion, the Art of Disney sells a variety of stunning paintings, figurines, and limited-edition prints!

Food Highlights at EPCOT

  • 2023 EPCOT Flower and Garden Food BoothsNow through July, you’ll be able to eat a variety of exciting flavors at each of the festival food kiosks set up around the park. Make sure to check out Farmers Feast, where the menu will change up seasonally throughout the course of the festival!
  • Pretzel Bread Pudding at Sommerfest: Located in the Germany Pavilion, this is a delicious take on bread pudding — featuring soft pretzels!
  • Fish and Chips at Yorkshire Fish and Chips Shop: You can’t go wrong when picking up delicious fried fish and chips (a.k.a. French fries) over at the Yorkshire Fish and Chips Shop in the UK Pavilion.
  • Apple Pie Gelato Shake at Connections Eatery: This delicious treat is apple pie in a cup! Pick it up over at Connections Eatery.
  • S’Mores Brownie at Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Crafts Drafts & Barbecue: An ooey gooey treat, you can find this dessert at Regal Eagle at the American Adventure Pavilion.
