Pastoral Palate is not playing around when it comes to filling foods in 2022, offering a couple of dishes that sound absolutely fantastic.
From Disney: “Help yourself to hearty dishes inspired by the rustic settings where Bavarian Folk Art was painted. Indulge in wild boar cassoulet, a red wine-braised beef short rib, and more.”
🍽️ ORDER UP: Wild Boar cassoulet? Oh yeah, we’re very ready to go wild on that. And the red wine-braised beef short rib? That’s your mouth watering, mein freund.

Red Wine-Braised Beef Short Rib

- With parsnip purée, broccolini, baby tomatoes, and aged balsamic
WDW Magazine Editorial Director, Rain Blanken: “It’s called ‘short rib,’ but I think the parsnip puree was the most enlightening bit on the plate. The beef was good and cooked well, but really did its beef thing and was purely outshined by the uncommon parsnip mash. Swirl the beef pieces in the parsnips, spear a bit of veggies, and you’ve got the perfect bite.”

WDW Magazine Editorial Director, Rain Blanken: “I have been looking forward to eating this cake again! One of my fest favorites, it hits that perfect sweet spot—of not-too-sweet! With a delicate flavor but plenty of almond and chocolate to go around, it’s a chilly little cake perfect for snacking.”
