Disney Reveals New Details on Frozen Holiday Surprise Coming to Magic Kingdom

by | Oct 23, 2023 | Disney's Hollywood Studios, Walt Disney World, Walt Disney World Entertainment

Disney has revealed new details for Frozen Holiday Surprise, a holiday show that will be coming to Cinderella Castle stage at Magic Kingdom.

We’re a few weeks from the start of the holidays at Walt Disney World! Along with festive treats, beautiful decorations, and the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, this year will have two specialty ticketed events for guests to enjoy after the parks closed. Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will be returning to Magic Kingdom, while Disney Jollywood Nights will make its official debut at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. But, even if you aren’t visiting the parks after hours for these events, you can still enjoy plenty of holiday magic in Disney World. This year, Disney has shared a new Frozen Holiday Surprise castle stage show that will premiere in Magic Kingdom.

New Details for Frozen Holiday Surprise

Disney revealed earlier this year that Frozen Holiday Surprise would be available at Magic Kingdom for the holiday season. However, we didn’t have too many details on what to expect from the show — until now!

Frozen Holiday Surprise will kick off on November 7th at Magic Kingdom, and will occur nightly throughout the holiday season. You can join in on the celebration as Olaf and more than 100 of his Snowgie siblings decorate Cinderella Castle for the holidays. Anna, Elsa, Olaf, and Kristoff will all appear on the Cinderella Castle stage in new looks, each bringing something for the gathering.

The festivities will culminate as Elsa adds some “sparkling finishing touches,” which will transform Cinderella Castle into a “shimmering crystallized palace.” From there, the look will remain on the castle for the rest of the night. The spectacle was brought to life with a team of lighting designers, video technicians, and a full orchestra working together. You can catch the new show when it debuts on November 7th at Magic Kingdom.
