We’re sharing your first sneak peek at the incredible medals for the first Disneyland half marathon in years!
Are you gearing up for the first runDisney races at Disneyland Resort in over five years? We are, and we can’t wait to hit the resort’s streets for these exciting events when the Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend kicks off in January. We’ve just gotten a look at the finisher medals from Disney, and we’re sharing a look at them below.
Here’s a look at the medal for the Disneyland 5K:

If you’re participating in the Disneyland 10K, you’ll receive this medal as a finisher:

Finishers of the Disneyland Half Marathon will get this medal:

And those who participate in the Dumbo Double Challenge will get this:

You’ll also be able to participate in races virtually if you can’t make it to Disneyland Resort. The 2024 Virtual Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend will include the very same events and medals, but you can run the races from anywhere.
About runDisney at Disneyland Resort
Back in 2018, all runDisney events at Disneyland Resort were put on pause due to construction happening for the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge expansion and other planned construction projects around the Downtown Disney District. Then, when the COVID-19 pandemic occurred, future runDisney events were put on hold as the resort shut down.
Finally, in January 2023, it was revealed that runDisney events were finally returning to Disneyland! And it all kicks off with the Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend presented by Honda from January 11 to 14. The weekend will include three distance races, of course, but plenty of other fun with Mickey Mouse and his friends. From yoga to a challenge to plenty of camaraderie, you’ll be able to join in the fun by registering for the Half Marathon Weekend.
