The highly anticipated Figment meet and greet officially returned to the Imagination Pavilion in EPCOT on September 10th.

There were a ton of announcements that came out of Destination D23 this past weekend. We learned that new Encanto and Indiana Jones experiences are being considered for Disney’s Animal Kingdom, a Pirates of the Caribbean tavern is coming to Magic Kingdom, and Test Track and Country Bear Jamboree are getting reimagined. We also got plenty of news on the EPCOT transformation, including the opening date for Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana as well as news on the new Luminous nighttime spectacular coming to the park. With that news, Disney also surprised guests with the debut of a highly anticipated meet and greet!

Figment Meet and Greet Returns to EPCOT

The Figment meet and greet that was first teased at last year’s 2022 D23 Expo has finally arrived! Figment began greeting guests at ImageWorks in EPCOT’s World Celebration beginning on September 10th.

Figment is a longtime fan-favorite from the park, a character that first debuted when EPCOT opened in 1982. He starred in the original attraction Journey Into Imagination, which has since gone through different iterations to become Journey Into Imagination with Figment. The musical ride takes guests through the Imagination Institute’s sensory labs where guests can learn about the five senses.

Figment is available to meet daily, with showtimes listed for the meet and greet on the My Disney Experience app. As of writing, Figment is available from 9 AM to 12:30 PM, and 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM. Make sure to check the app on the day of your visit if you plan on taking part in the fun new photo op.
