Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo: Fairy Godmother Disneybound Ideas

The Fairy Godmother is one of those underrated Disney heroes. Without her, Cinderella’s story would have ended at the bench where she was sobbing.

The Fairy Godmother came out of nowhere and completely turned Cindy’s life upside down (in a good way). The cartoon classic portrays her as a very sweet and caring older lady—which worked!

Although she was great, I especially loved the live-action adaptation where Helena Bonham Carter plays Cinderella’s Fairy Godmother.

She was eccentric, kind, and above all else, stylish. It makes sense … she had to be creative and she had to act fast!

How else would she be able to create such an elegant and stunning ball gown out of thin air if she wasn’t inherently stylish?

I chose to pay tribute to the original Fairy Godmother with my Disneybound. I use this dress a lot for Disneybounding different characters.

I have used it for Cinderella and The Blue Fairy, but this look has got to be my favorite so far.

Not all of us are on our way to a ball, so Leslie Kay put together a fantastic every day, school-ready, look that is sure to add some extra magic to the mundane days of academia.

The bow on the blouse is the best part of this look. I think paying attention to minor details like that can create a successful Disneybound, especially on Instagram!

The only ball I want to see this outfit at is The Annual Met Ball.

This outfit is so well put together. I think it looks like celebrity stylists put it together! Wow.

The necklace, the dress—it all comes together perfectly to make a runway-ready Fairy Godmother!

This one is not only easy to put together, but it looks exceptionally comfy (which is so important for a day at Disney!)

The ears that Emily wears are themed around the character that she is Disneybounding, and she’s even holding a magic wand—nice touch!

The scene where The Fairy Godmother transforms Cinderella’s pink dress into her iconic blue gown is my favorite.

Apparently, it was also one of Walt Disney’s favorite sequences as well. This dapper day duo brought that scene to life with their classic dresses.
