Walt Disney World turns 50 on October 1, and to mark the occasion, Disney is throwing an 18-month-long party called “The World’s Most Magical Celebration.” As part of this major event, the Most Magical Place on Earth is releasing an extensive lineup of unique Walt Disney World 50th anniversary merch.
You’ll be able to get your hands on the Disney 50th anniversary merch as early as August 12, but most of the souvenirs will launch in October and November.

“The merchandise creative celebrates the legacy of the past 50 years with a nod to the next 50,” explains Marianne Sharpe, Vice President of Merchandise at Walt Disney World Resort. “It includes authentic replicas of product, modern fashion trend collections, artist collaborations, and even matching attire for the entire family. The 50th merchandise is truly for the Disney fan in us all.”

Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Merch—With Photos

This lineup includes everything from headwear to ornaments to T-shirts to accessories. All items will be available at the four WDW parks, as well as Disney Springs. Select items will also be available for purchase at some Disney Resort hotels and on shopDisney.com.

Limited-Time Merchandise: Available August 12, 2021

If you’re literally counting down the days until the 50th anniversary (hey, you sound like someone who needs our Disney World wall calendar), then you’re in luck. You can start the celebration early with some limited-time Disney World anniversary merch.
What will this merch be? Disney hasn’t let that slip yet.

Vault Collection: Available Early October 2021

The Disney Vault is that secret place where our favorite movies sometimes go to hang out without us. But the Vault Collection will not be so exclusive. We’ll get the chance to shop for retro merch styled after opening day souvenirs come October 2021. Among this vintage merchandise will be throwback Mickey Mouse ear hats, nostalgic accessories, and T-shirt styles from a bygone WDW era.
But you won’t be able to get all your shopping done in October. Disney will be releasing some of this Disney World 50th anniversary merch from the vault throughout the course of the 18-month anniversary extravaganza.

Disney Castle Collection: Available Early October 2021

Also in early October (likely right on Oct. 1, the official anniversary date), WDW will be releasing the Disney Castle Collection, all based on the iconic Cinderella Castle. You’ll be able to shop for Cinderella castle ornaments, Cinderella Castle charms, Cinderella Castle clothing, and a Minnie Mouse ear headband that lights up and is branded for the 50th anniversary. (They couldn’t all be Cinderella Castle.)

Celebration Collection: Available Early 2021

The last collection to be available right at the start of the party is appropriately named the Celebration Collection. This will be the broadest array of merch and appeal to everyone in the family. Choose from 50th anniversary character plush, T-shirts, and headwear, as well as Dooney and Bourke accessories and mommy-and-me ensembles.
