The Disney Wish hasn’t even taken its maiden voyage yet, but we are already drooling with anticipation over the totally unique and reimagined main dining rooms on board. Disney Cruise Line operates a signature “rotational dining” experience, where guests travel to a different restaurant each night of their cruise, while serving staff travels with them for a seamless and magical experience. Of course, it’s Disney so that not only means unique menus and décor but new, immersive stories with each meal.

During a media event celebrating Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary Celebration, we had the chance to talk with Kelly, Manager of Dining Standards for Disney Cruise Line, who was kind enough to give us a sneak peek of the experience at Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure on board the Disney Wish.

The Atmosphere of Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure

Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure is set to be a truly theatrical dining experience. It’s more than just entertainment, it’s a continuation of where we left of the story in Frozen II.

Anna and Kristoff are engaged, Anna is Queen of Arendelle, and Elsa has really come into her own in the Enchanted Forest. Guests will dine in the castle, celebrating with the happy couple.

Expect appearances by Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, Olaf, and even Oaken! Some special effects are expected, including the opportunity to glimpse the colorful lights of the Aurora Borealis during dinner.

This table setting is by far the most intricate of the three main dining experiences on the Disney Wish, with character silhouettes hidden in the edge of the plates, traditional silverware that’s perfectly palatial, and napkins embroidered with Anna’s signature crocus.

The wooden salt and pepper shakers and gorgeous bread bowl seem inspired by Kristoff, and the crackled blue water glass and icy water bottle are very “Elsa” to me!

The Cast Members at Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure

Cast Members will be dressed in costumes that would fit in perfectly with in the gates of the castle and feature the patterns and rosemaling we’ve grown to know and love in the Frozen films. The green and mauve colors are just perfect!

The Food at Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure

The menu is influenced by Nordic cuisine. While we didn’t get many details on what that might include, I can’t wait to pretend I’m dining on a frozen fjord sampling delicacies of Arendelle!

Of course, this is a Disney Cruise, and the restaurant promises allergy-free, vegetarian and vegan options (just like the other two main dining rooms, Worlds of Marvel and 1923).

There are three main dining rooms on the Disney Wish. Guests will rotate through all three:

• Worlds of Marvel
• Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure
