There’s reason enough to just take your time winding your way through World Showcase and enjoying the sights, sounds, smells, and tastes of Festival of the Arts. But if you’re on a time crunch and you want to get your Wonderful Walk done wonderfully quick, you can enact a strategy that’ll have you enjoying that yummy prize cookie in no time.

Entering through the main gate

First thing’s first: Pick up your Festival Passport as you enter the park. Then, hang a left around Spaceship Earth to make your way toward Test Track. Hit up The Donut Box, then make your way into World Showcase.

Once you’ve made it to Port of Entry, you have a few ways to go about filling out your Festival Passport. You can of course start with The Deconstructed Dish, but you could also save it for last since it’ll be the closest to Deco Delights.

If you have time for a loop, you can start by heading left toward Mexico and working your way clockwise around the lagoon. That’ll let you get the full scope of what’s going on around World Showcase and allow you to you knock off The Artist’s Table, Encanto Cocina, Gourmet Landscapes, and The Deconstructed Dish as you wind your way back to Port of Entry to pick up your prize.

You could also head counterclockwise around the lagoon. You could start with The Deconstructed Dish or Gourmet Landscapes and work your way down to The Artist’s Table, but you’d then need to double back to Port of Entry by walking half the length of the lagoon. An alternative approach would be to head straight to The American Adventure and start at The Artist’s Table, then work your way back around clockwise before arriving back at Port of Entry.

No matter how you approach the Wonderful Walk of Color, you’ll wind up walking a fair amount. (Which makes sense—it ain’t called a Wonderful Walk for nothing.) And since that’s the case, you may as well roll with the clockwise approach so you can take it all in.

Entering through the International Gateway

Coming in via the International Gateway puts you right near the France Pavilion, which means you can immediately hit Encanto Cocina and The Artist’s Table after grabbing your Festival Passport. You can do these in any order considering you’ll need to then head back toward the way you came in so you can work your way up to Canada and Gourmet Landscapes.

From here, you could visit The Deconstructed Dish, but you’ll also still need to head up to Test Track for The Donut Box. So you can either get that out of the way and then come back to one-two The Deconstructed Dish and Deco Delights or visit The Deconstructed Dish, head up to The Donut Box for your last stamp, then come back to Port of Entry to pick up your prize.

How the Wonderful Walk of Color Cuisine Works

To participate in the EPCOT Wonderful Walk of Color Cuisine, you will need admission and a Park Pass reservation to EPCOT. Currently, single-day admission to EPCOT is $109.

You will then pick up a Festival Passport, which is your guide to the 2022 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, including all the food booths.

Hold on tight to this passport. Each time you buy one of the five Color Cuisines, you’ll receive a stamp. Once you receive all five, you will need to show your completed passport to a Cast Member at Deco Delights to claim your free cookie.

My advice? Wear sweatpants with a nice, stretchy elastic waistband. You’ll feel much better when it’s all said and done.
