Frequently Asked Questions

When is the EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival?

The 2024 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival kicks off on February 28, 2024, and will last through May 27.

How long does the EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival run for?

This year’s festival will run for 90 days.

What are the park hours for EPCOT’s Flower & Garden Festival?

During the festival, EPCOT is open from 9 AM to 9 PM every day.

However, festival booth and activity times will vary. Each day, the food booths open at 11 a.m. Make sure you grab a Festival Passport upon entering EPCOT for the 2024 Flower & Garden Festival. This is your guide to the day’s activities (and all the Flower & Garden Festival food booths).

How much is the 2024 EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival?

All EPCOT festivals, including the 2024 EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival, are included with the cost of admission to EPCOT.

  • If you’re an Annual Passholder, attending the 2024 Flower & Garden Festival costs nothing.
  • If you’re purchasing a ticket, a standard single-day ticket to EPCOT costs $109.

However, there are other Flower & Garden Festival costs to factor in before you head to the park. For example, one of the main draws of the festival is the collection of food booths (or outdoor kitchens), where you can purchase artistic renditions of classic food, snacks, and drinks. These vary in cost; the cheapest items are typically in the $2 to $3 range. However, the fanciest cocktails may hit $13 to $15.

What’s Free at the EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival?

If you’re hoping to do the Festival of the Arts on a budget, you’ll want to skip the food booths, merch stops, scavenger hunts, food strolls, and special classes. However, one of the most exciting aspects of the Flower & Garden Festival is the slew of live performances you can catch throughout the day – and each one of these performances is completely free! While the 2024 entertainment schedule is still yet to be released, you can expect the following live entertainment to be free once you’re inside EPCOT for the festival:

  • Character topiaries, which you can see as you stroll through breathtaking gardens filled with topiary sculptures of cherished Disney characters.
  • Garden Rocks Concert Series, which brings live performances from popular musicians, bands, and more to the America Gardens Theatre in the American Adventure Pavilion.
  • Blossoms of Fragrance, a walk-through experience that’s surrounded by butterfly topiaries and lets you follow your nose to six different scent stations.

In addition to these free daily activities, there’s plenty to see around EPCOT during the Flower & Garden Festival. And it’s all free! You’ll be able to find photo opportunities where you can snap shots with a Disney PhotoPass Photographer (or take your own photos) as you spot Disney character topiaries, check out stunning gardens planted throughout the park, and browse brand-new merch.

Make sure you grab a Festival Passport upon entering EPCOT for the 2024 Flower & Garden Festival. This is your guide to the day’s activities, food booths, and free entertainment you can enjoy without spending a cent.

One of the big draws of the annual EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival is the food booths, or as they’re officially known, outdoor kitchens. While we’re still eagerly awaiting the announcement of which deliciously seasonal springtime dishes will be available during the 2024 Flower & Garden Festival, you can always take a peek at last year’s festival booth menus to get a general idea of what will be served. Often, returning favorites appear – and you can start making your plans of which you’ll want to visit first based on last year’s hits!

Not sure what to order? That’s why we offer reviews of each food booth (called “outdoor kitchens” for this festival) once the festival launches. We try to sample as much food as early in the festival as possible so we can steer you in the right direction.

We love that there are almost TOO many things to do at the 2024 EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival. The scavenger hunts at all EPCOT fests are a fun way to earn a prize by finding a familiar character all around the park (and often learning a thing or two along the way). But did you know you don’t actually have to find him to get the prize?

Disney Character Topiaries

Can you find all the topiaries at EPCOT Flower and Garden? Photo by Julie de la Fe

There are so many characters to find in plant form. The horticulturists at EPCOT have designed character topiaries that are placed all throughout the park. Whether you enjoy wandering around the park to spot as many characters as you can or you want to snap photos of every topiary you can catch, it’s a fun adventure that’s totally free.

For this year’s festival, new characters will include Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy, Miguel and Dante from Coco, and an entrance topiary featuring Asha, Valentino and the Wishing Star from Wish.
