The lounge was designed to look like the Half Note Lounge from the film, transporting guests to a classic New York jazz club with custom artwork featuring nods to Soul.
At the lounge, adults will be able to pick up table-side Manhattans, martinis, or cocktails of their choice. Small bites will also be offered, including zeppoles, a classic Italian pastry that’s similiar to a fried doughnut. The lounge will offer live music, so you can take in a performance while grabbing a drink and a small bite to eat.
Reimagined Concierge Lounge and Shore Power Technology
Onbaord the Disney Magic, you will also be able to check out the reimagined concierge lounge. The concierge lounge has been reimagined and expanded to feature a new tropical color palate inspired by Moana. An additional outdoor covered seating area on deck 10 has also been added, where guests can relax while enjoying a beautiful view of the sea. Additionally, all concierge suites (including one- and two-bedroom accommodations and the two signature royal suites) have been completed updated with new fixtures, furniture, and decorations.
Another update for the Disney Magic is the installation of Shore power technology, part of Disney’s dedications to minimizing environmental impacts. What this does is allows the Disney Magic to “plug in” to the port’s electrical grif while at port, which helps to reduce the ship’s emissions.
