There is so much that you can do at Disney Springs, the giant shopping and dining district of Walt Disney World. From fine dining to world-class shopping, it’s easy to spend an entire day (or more!) in the area. But, with so much to do, there are always new things to still discover. We were just able to experience one of the Shaken & Stirred cocktail classes at the Edison, and we’re sharing everything you need to know!

The Edison Shaken & Stirred Cocktail Classes

At the Edison, you can enjoy Shaken & Stirred cocktail classes, along with the Mixology sunset dinner series. With the Shaken & Stirred cocktail classes, you’ll be able to have a hands-on opportunity to be paired with a master mixologist who will “distill their best techniques, tips, and tools—just for you.”

The class includes a light lunch and two to three cocktails enjoyed in a small group. The group size is limited to six to ten guests, with classes beginning at 1 PM and lasting about two to two and a half hours. Classes are priced starting at $100 per guest, with the price increasing depending on the topic or level of spirit. When you request to book, you’ll be required to pay a 50% deposit. WDW Magazine reporter Brianna Watson was recently able to attend one of the Shaken & Stirred cocktail classes, where she had the opportunity to make a few special drinks!

As part of the class, Brianna was able to learn how to make an Old Fashioned, Margarita, and Everything in Between (which were various tastings).

The event was hosted by mixologists Chelsea Gilpin and Talon Streinhauer, who were on hand to show how to make each of the drinks in a private class setting.

And those drinks? They were delicious! This is the Margarita, a classic take on the fan-favorite cocktail.
