Earl of Sandwich has officially reopened at Disneyland Resort’s Downtown Disney District with its largest location yet, featuring The Carvery, a new pub, expanded bakery, and more.

There’s a new spot to grab a sandwich at the Disneyland Resort – and it’s much bigger than before. Earl of Sandwich officially reopened today in the Downtown Disney District, unveiling what the company is calling its largest and most immersive restaurant experience yet.

The new flagship location expands on the fan-favorite sandwich shop with new dining concepts, an expanded bakery, and a pub, giving Disneyland guests even more reasons to stop by before or after a day in the parks.

Earl of Sandwich Returns to Downtown Disney

While Earl of Sandwich has long been a favorite dining option at Downtown Disney, this new location represents a major upgrade. The restaurant combines the brand’s signature toasted sandwiches with new interactive experiences and expanded food offerings.

At the center of the restaurant is The Carvery, where guests can watch premium pastrami being carved fresh throughout the day. The showcase kitchen is home to the new Earl’s Pastrami, made with slow-cooked pastrami, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, Dijonnaise, and Thousand Island dressing on marbled rye.

Returning favorites (including The Full Montagu® and The Original 1762) remain on the menu alongside wraps, salads, cold-cut deli sandwiches, soups, and other Earl of Sandwich classics.

New Bakery and Pub

Beyond sandwiches, the new location introduces several experiences unique to the Downtown Disney restaurant. The expanded bakery serves oversized cookies loaded with toppings, fresh cinnamon rolls, and rotating seasonal baked treats throughout the day.

Guests can also visit The Pub, an all-new space within Earl of Sandwich offering draft beer, wine, frozen cocktails, and seasonal beverages. The addition gives visitors another casual option for relaxing in Downtown Disney after shopping or spending the day in the parks.

Grand Opening Celebration Set for July 15

Although the restaurant is now officially open, the grand opening celebration is scheduled for Wednesday, July 15.

The event will feature Luke Montagu, the 12th Earl of Sandwich, whose family traces the sandwich’s origins back to 1762. His appearance celebrates the history behind one of the world’s most recognizable foods while marking the opening of Earl of Sandwich’s newest flagship restaurant.

“We didn’t want to simply build another Earl of Sandwich. We wanted to create a destination worthy of the Downtown Disney District,” said founder Robert Earl. “This new location honors our heritage while creating moments of discovery around every corner, all while delivering the quality, exceptional value, and hospitality our guests have come to expect from us.”

Hours and Location

The new Earl of Sandwich is now open in the Downtown Disney District at the Disneyland Resort.

Hours are:

• Sunday through Thursday: 8 AM to 11 PM
• Friday and Saturday: 8 AM to 12 AM
