Hong Kong Disneyland is celebrating Duffy and Friends in a big way this spring! Along with new merchandise and food, fans can take in a new show and “Duffy and Friends Play Days”!

If you’ve ever visited any of the international Disney parks, you’ve probably had the pleasure of meeting Duffy the Disney Bear. This adorable character has become a staple at Tokyo Disney, Hong Kong Disneyland, Disneyland Paris, and Shanghai Disneyland. Duffy is Mickey Mouse’s teddy bear, and has become a famous character to meet in his own right at the many Disney parks (along with all of his friends!). And this spring, Hong Kong Disneyland has shared lots of next Duffy and Friends experiences coming to the park for Duffy and Friends Play Days! From new merchandise and dining options, to a special seasonal show, these are all of the new experiences you can find at Duffy and Friends Play Days at Hong Kong Disneyland!

A brand new experience to meet Duffy and Friends is coming to Hong Kong Disneyland starting April 1, 2023! The new “Duffy and Friends Play House” will be coming to the Plaza Grounds, allowing guests to walk through and interact with the immersive world of the characters.

Disney also teased that, through augmented reality technology, you’ll be able to make music with ‘Olu Mel at the seaside shore, explore Gelatoni’s art studio, and count butterflies in LinaBell’s forest maze.” To make the experience even more special, Duffy and Friends will be meeting guests in their new spring outfits!

If the Duffy and Friends Play House is a must-do, you can purchase to Duffy and Friends Play House Admission Pass to get admission to the Play House, along with a meet and greet with a Duffy and Friends character.

New Seasonal Show: “StellaLou’s Wonderful Wishes Ballet”

StellaLou is one of Duffy’s friends, a lavender rabbit determined to become a dancer! And this spring her dream will come true, and she and her friends will start in the new 30-minute show “StellaLou’s Wonderful Wishes Ballet.” In the performance, StellaLou will be joined by friends Duffy, LinaBell, and Gelatoni, along with dangers from Hong Kong Disneyland and the Hong Kong Ballet. The show will hold four to five performances a day at Disney’s Storybook Theater in Fantasyland from April 5 to 10, and April 14 to 16. If you want to guarantee your entry to the limited event, Hong Kong Disneyland will be offering priority entry through different levels of Disney Premier Access. Disney Premier Access will give guest priority entry to the ballet show, as well as access to the reserved viewing area for other shows, and priority access to select attractions.

New merchandise will also be available for the show, including a hair band, shoulder bag, and even a ballet costume. Guests who purchase a designated package will also be able to get an exclusive pin in the shape of StellaLou’s ballet slippers. Guests can also purchase a package that includes priority entry to the show, along with the Explorer’s Semi-Buffet at Explorer’s Club Restaurant before the show.

Duffy and Friends Fans Day

Hong Kong Disneyland will also host the first-ever “Duffy and Friends Fans Day” event this spring. For a chance to attend the event, you will need to fill out a participation form on the Hong Kong Disneyland website, where guests will be drawn at random. Winners will be able to experience the “Duffy and Friends Playhouse”, and also will be able to meet Duffy and Friends in their new spring outfits. The drawing will take place from March 9 to 16, 2023.

Create Your Own Duffy and Friends Headband

Fans of Duffy and Friends will also now be able to make their own custom merchandise — a Duffy and Friends headband! Now through March 30, guests can pre-order the exclusive Duffy adn Friends personalized headband with their favorite mini character plush on the Hong Kong Disneyland eStore.

Along with the headband available for pre-order, guests will be able to pick up new Duffy and Friends merchandise, as well as new treats at the parks this spring! The celebrations have already begun, with more to come starting April 1, 2023 when Duffy and Friends Play House opens, shortly followed by “StellaLou’s Wonderful Wishes Ballet” on April 5, only at Hong Kong Disneyland.
