Disney has shared a reopening date for Typhoon Lagoon, along with a closing refurbishment date for Blizzard Beach.
Surf’s up! Disney has shared the exciting news that Typhoon Lagoon will be reopening on March 19 after a months-long closure for refurbishment. The reopening of Typhoon Lagoon also means that its companion water park, Blizzard Beach, will be closing for its annual refurbishment, with its last day of operation on March 18.

When Typhoon Lagoon reopens, it will do so with new treats on the menus! Guests will be able to grab new snacks such as a Pineapple Upside Down Cone at Happy Landings, or the exclusive Typhoon Tilly Sipper. Disney also has shared that the Moana Cone that debuted during World Princess Week will be back, along with the Hei Hei Cone at Snack Shack.
H2O Glow After Hours Returns

Along with the news of Typhoon Lagoon’s reopening date, Disney has also shared that H2O Glow After Hours will be returning to the park. The separately ticketed event will kick off starting May 20, and will include a DJ dance party, complimentary tweets, and a glowing atmosphere!
H2O Glow After Hours will take place on select nights from May 20 to September 2, with the event lasting from 8PM to 11PM. Tickets are $75 for adults, and $70 for children aged 3 to 9, with discounts available for Passholders and eligible DVC members.
You can visit Typhoon Lagoon when it reopens starting March 19, with Blizzard Beach available to guests through March 18.
