Disney’s All-Inclusive Resorts and Vacations: Everything You Need to Know

by | Apr 21, 2025 | Disneyland Resorts, DVC Destinations, Walt Disney World Resorts

If you’re looking for a simple, seamless, and totally pre-planned vacation, here’s what you need to know about Disney and all-inclusive resorts, packages, and more.

With all of the planning required to visit Walt Disney World and Disneyland, it’s no wonder that plenty of guests are looking for an all-inclusive resort or an all-inclusive vacation package that’ll make the process simpler.

All-inclusive vacation packages and resorts are a total dream for anyone who’s looking for a pre-planned, effortless vacation. They make planning a total breeze – once you’ve chosen your destination, you can pay for your vacation, show up on your arrival date, and have everything at your disposal. Best of all, there’s no need to pull out your wallet.

But before you start searching for Disney’s all-inclusive resorts and vacation packages, we’re sharing what you need to know about this specific kind of vacation below.

Disney All-Inclusive Resorts: Where to Find Them

If you’re looking for a Disney all-inclusive resort, we have some bad news for you: None exist. There are no official Disney resorts at either Disney World or Disneyland (or anywhere else) that are all-inclusive.

While Disney resorts at both Disney World and Disneyland do include plenty of exclusive perks with the price of your stay – like Early Theme Park Entry and Extended Evening Hours (at Deluxe Resorts) – none are truly all-inclusive. Your per-night rate doesn’t include food, drinks, or theme park admission. All of that must be purchased separately.

Is Aulani an All-Inclusive Resort?

Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa, is a bit different from the resorts you’ll find at Disney World and Disneyland. It doesn’t sit near a theme park, and it does include more for guests than your typical Disney resort hotel.

But unfortunately, even Aulani is not an all-inclusive resort. Aulani simply offers different perks for guests – but most of what you’d find included at a true all-inclusive resort must be paid for separately.

When you book a stay at Aulani, you will find that the following perks are included:

  • Disney character experiences
  • Aunty’s Beach House (and other kids’ club activities)
  • ‘Ohana Disney Movie Nights
  • Shake-A-Shaka Pool Party
  • Onsite kids’ activities like ukulele lessons, nature tours, and hula lessons

Dining at any of Aulani’s restaurants comes at a price, and so too do drinks, snacks, and other options from shops and kiosks. Additionally, some extra-special character experiences – the Premium Character Experiences, to be specific – come with an added fee.

Ultimately, staying at Aulani is like staying at any other Hawaiian resort. Most things beyond your room and the onsite amenities, like pools and kids’ clubs, come with added costs and are not included in the rate you pay.

All-Inclusive Disney Vacations: Do They Exist?

Unfortunately, as planDisney explains, Disney doesn’t offer any kind of all-inclusive vacation or vacation packages. There is no way to bundle all of the aspects of a Disney World or Disneyland vacation into one all-inclusive package – you’ll have to handle each component, from your resort to your food (even if you’re opting for the Disney Dining Plan) to your theme park tickets separately.

And once you’re onsite at Disney World or Disneyland, you won’t find the resorts or theme parks to be all-inclusive. Each activity, such as opting for Lightning Lane Multi Pass or choosing advance dining reservations (ADRs), is done individually and with its own potential cost.

There is one vacation package, however: Disney Vacation Packages.

Disney Vacation Packages are not all-inclusive Disney vacations, but they do make the purchasing and planning process a bit easier by bundling different aspects together. A Disney Vacation Package includes theme park tickets, a resort stay, the Disney Dining Plan (if you’re visiting Disney World), and Park Hopper. You can customize your vacation package to your liking – but note that everything beyond your hotel room, theme park tickets, and dining plan will be separate (and paid for separately).

Are Disney Cruise Line Vacations All-Inclusive?

Disney Cruise Line does offer a bit more of an all-inclusive package than visiting Disney’s theme parks. When you book a cruise, you’ll have:

  • Your stateroom included
  • Most of your meals, including rotational dining (with the exception of any add-on dining experiences)
  • Access to exclusive ports like Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay
  • Entertainment, such as shows, trivia, and nightlife
  • Access for kids at the onboard clubs (such as the Oceaneer’s Club)

However, setting sail on a Disney cruise still isn’t completely all-inclusive. There are extras that are not included and additional charges you’ll need to keep in mind, such as the cost of alcoholic beverages, sending little ones to the “it’s a small world” Nursery, and bookable Port Adventures. Gratuities, or tips, also aren’t included (though this can sometimes be excluded from true all-inclusive vacations outside of Disney, too).

Ultimately, though, if you’re looking for an all-inclusive option, Disney Cruise Line is the closest you’ll get. You can pre-pay for almost everything on your sailing, and if you aren’t interested in add-ons like Port Adventures, optional dining experiences, and extras like wine or cocktails, the price you pay before setting sail is quite all-inclusive.
