Major Disneyland Paris news has been announced! Disney has revealed that Walt Disney Studios Park, the second park at Disneyland Paris, will be receiving a name change along with tons of new updates.

There has been quite a bit of Disneyland Paris news this week! Disneyland Paris has been undergoing a major transformation, with updates coming such as World of Frozen to join the current Avengers Campus and Worlds of Pixar. And now Disney has revealed that the transformation will continue at the second park, along with a major name change.

Walt Disney Studios Reimagining

As the park continues to transform, Walt Disney Studios at Disneyland Paris will be renamed to Disney Adventure World. This renaming will come with a variety of changes, including a new entrance to the park’s promenade, Adventure Way, along with more experiences and attractions. We’ll be breaking down the major changes to come over the next few years below.

New Park Entrance

The reimagined park will begin with a new park entrance sequence, which will open in spring 2025. The new concept art shows the look of an open-air movie studio, World Premiere, where you’ll be brought to a Hollywood movie premiere. Disney Parks Blog shared that the current soundstage décor will be replaced with pieces paying homage to historic movie theaters

Then you’ll find yourself in World Premiere Plaza, a new Art Déco-inspired theater district! The work is currently in progress for this area, which will celebrate Walt Disney Animation Studios and Pixar Animation Studios.

Adventure Bay

While we knew World of Frozen will be heading to the park, we now know that it will be located along Adventure Bay. This lake will be the promenade of the expansion, serving as a gateway to the new world and also featuring an entertainment stage with a 360-degree viewing area. The water will be complete with fountains, music, lights and special effects for water-based entertainment.

Tangled Ride

Disneyland Paris has also shared a new ride is coming. Raiponce Tangled Spin will be inspired by Tangled, taking you on a ride in the floating lanterns from the film. There will also be a new table service restaurant, The Regal View Restaurant and Lounge. This will offer you views of Adventure Bay, and the chance to meet some Disney Princesses.

New Shows at Disneyland Paris

Two new shows will be coming in the next year! Beginning May 18, Alice & The Queen of Hearts: Back to Wonderland will debut at Walt Disney Studios Park. The new Alice in Wonderland-inspired show will feature carobats in a pop and rock showdown that will feature two different endings decided by the audience.

By the end of 2024, a new nighttime activation will come to Avengers Campus. Featuring superheroes, projections, and music, this will take place on the Worldwide Engineering Brigade building through spring 2025.

Disneyland Village Transformation

Disney Village will also be receiving new shops, including a new Disney lifestyle shop and a Disney home store by the end of the year. Plus, the Disney Store will be reimagined later on.

Reimagined Disney Davy Crockett Ranch Bungalows

FInally, the Disney Davy Crockett Ranch bungalows will be getting a new look! The project will start this year, with the theming receiving nods to Junior Woodchucks, Donald Duck, and friends.
