Looking for more ways to save money on your trip to Disneyland? Here are some tips to keep costs down:

  • Stay at a Good Neighbor Hotel: Disneyland’s three hotels are iconic, but they’re also expensive. You can stay in the magic nearby the resort by booking at one of Disneyland’s Good Neighbor Hotels. These hotels offer Disneyland ticket packages when you book as well.
  • Skip Park Hopper: Park hopping at Disneyland is super easy. Just walk across the esplanade to the other park. But Park Hopper also increases your overall ticket cost. If you can resist the temptation to switch parks midday, you’ll save on everyone’s Disneyland ticket prices.
  • Work with a Disney travel agent: They’ll be able to find all the special Disneyland discounts and can help you with everything from Genie+ to Advanced Dining Reservations.
  • Go for multiple days: The more days you go to the park, the cheaper the daily tickets will be. A thorough trip might include two days in each park.
  • Set a food budget: It can be tempting to snack all day at Disneyland and Disney California Adventure — but the shock sets in when you see your credit card bill. Give your family a daily limit on snacks, meals, and drinks and stick to it.
  • Travel during the off season: Disneyland ticket prices are much higher during its most popular times. Peak season for Disneyland is during the summer, spring break, and the holiday season.
