Watercraft transportation will be fully up and running again for Walt Disney World Guests traveling between resorts starting in October.
If you’ve missed being able to resort hop not by bus, foot, Disney Skyliner, or car, then we’ve got some exciting news: Watercraft service between resorts is coming back! Starting October 1, 2023, Guests will be able to sail across Bay Lake and travel between three resorts when the service officially resumes.
While this exciting type of transportation has mostly resumed its travels across the waterways and lakes throughout Walt Disney World Resort, there were a few resorts where service still had yet to return. On October 1, the “blue route” of Disney World’s watercraft service will resume its service and ferry Guests between Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, and Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground.
The “blue route” watercraft service between these three resorts will be available daily starting at 3 PM when it resumes. Whether you’re hoping to explore the dining options at different resorts or simply want to see more of the resorts’ individual magic, this scenic route is a great way to travel!
For all of your morning inter-resort travels, or any transportation needs before 3 PM each day, you can continue to use alternate Disney Transportation options.
