Disney World Sorcerer Pass Blockout Dates, Price, and Perks

Before making your Disney World Annual Pass selection, review the Sorcerer Pass blockout dates, pricing, and perks.

In just a few days, Disney World will officially launch its new Annual Pass program, but you can forget the Silver and Platinum you used to know. Instead, Disney’s Annual Passes are broken into four tiers, including the Disney Sorcerer Pass.

The Disney Sorcerer Pass is the penultimate Annual Pass, with very few blockout dates and five park reservations (that’s the most you can get!). But that all comes at a much higher price than lower-tier passes.

The Disney World Sorcerer Pass is only available to Florida residents and DVC Members. So whether you’re a Floridian or a card-carrying member of the Disney Vacation Club, you’ll want to include the Disney Sorcerer Pass in your Annual Pass considerations.

Note: As Disney warned, due to capacity constraints, Annual Passes can sell out—and they have been doing just that. For up-to-date Disney World Annual Pass sales info, please visit the Disney website.

To help guests choose the right Annual Pass tier when they go on sale on Sept. 8, Disney formally released blockout calendars for each of the passes through Oct. 31, 2022 Blockout dates are dates for which passholders cannot make park reservations.

There are very few Disney World Sorcerer Pass blockout dates, but just know that when you purchase the Sorcerer Pass, there will be some days that you cannot attend any Disney Park.

Here are all of the Sorcerer Pass blockout dates through October 2022:

2021

  • Nov. 24-27
  • Dec. 18-31

That’s right: No blockout dates for the first 10 months of 2022. Basically, just expect to be locked out of the parks around Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Out of the 421 days between Sept. 8, 2021, and Oct. 31, 2022, there are 18 Disney Pirate Pass blockout dates.

This is a big distinction over the Pixie Dust and Pirate Passes, which have 161 and 75 blockout dates respectively.

Given that it has so few blockout dates, how much does the Disney Sorcerer Pass cost? A total of $899 plus tax. This is only $200 more than the Pirate Pass, and the reduction in blockout dates truly makes it worth it.

If you’d rather take on a monthly payment, you can just pay $205 as a down payment and then $63/month for 12 months with no interest.

Disney World Sorcerer Pass Perks

The Sorcerer Pass gets you five park reservations at a time, the most possible. Though it doesn’t have all the perks of the range-topping Incredi-Pass, the price is substantially lower. That makes this the best Disney World Annual Pass tier, as long as you’re eligible.

Other perks are consistent across all pass levels:
