Disney World Shares Opening Date for Country Bears Musical Jamboree

At D23 in 2023, Disney World shared there would be a new Country Bears Musical Jamboree coming. Now, we know when the new show will open.

At the 2023 D23 Expo, Disney shared a few major updates coming to Disney World attractions. At Disney’s Animal Kingdom, It’s Tough to Be a Bug will be replaced by a Zootopia-inspired show, while Test Track will be updated in EPCOT. Disney also revealed that Country Bears Jamboree would be getting an update, with the characters set to sing reinterpreted Disney tunes. Now, we have a timeline for the reimagined attraction.

Disney has revealed that Country Bears Musical Jamboree, the new version of the show, will officially open on July 17, 2024.

New Country Bears Musical Jamboree Opening Timeline

Disney originally revealed that the attraction would close temporarily beginning January 27, with Grizzly Hall reopening with the new show later this summer. The new show will pay homage to Nashville’s Opry-style shows, and will include lots of easter eggs fans will love. The bears will be singing new, reinterpreted Disney tunes in different genres of country music. That will include styles like bluegrass, pop-country, Americana, and rockabilly.
