Before making your Disney World Annual Pass selection, review the Pirate Pass blockout dates, pricing, and perks.
UPDATE: The Disney World Pirate Pass is not currently available for new purchases. Currently, only the Pixie Dust Pass is available as a new Annual Pass purchase (for Florida residents only). For up-to-date Disney World Annual Pass sales info, please visit the Disney website.
The Disney Pirate Pass is the second-tier option, still affordable but with fewer blockout dates (though still many) and more park reservations.
The Disney World Pirate Pass is only available to Florida residents. If you’ve got a Florida address and are looking for an affordable middle-of-the-road Disney World pass, read on about the brand-new Pirate Pass at Disney.
Note: As Disney warned, due to capacity constraints, Annual Passes can sell out—and they have been doing just that. For up-to-date Disney World Annual Pass sales info, please visit the Disney website.

Disney World Pirate Pass Blockout Dates

The Disney World Pirate Pass blockout dates include some weekends and many popular holiday times, in an effort to reduce capacity and allow in more guests who are buying individual tickets. The Pirate Pass has notably fewer blockout dates than the Pixie Dust Pass and even has most of the summer open all week long.
Here are all of the Pirate Pass blockout dates through March: 2024
2023
- March 11-18
- April 1-15
- May 27-29
- July 1-4
- September 2-4
- October 7-9
- November 17-25
- December 20-31
2024
- January 1-4
- January 13-15
- February 17-19
- March 18-31
Out of the 391 days between March 7, 2023 and March 31, 2023, there are 81 Disney Pirate Pass blockout dates. The Pixie Dust Pass has more than double the number of blockout dates.
Still, that means nearly 21% of the time, Disney Pirate Passholders cannot go to the park, even though it’s open.

Disney World Pirate Pass Pricing
So how much does the Disney Pirate Pass cost? Just $749 plus tax.
If you’d rather take on a monthly payment, you can just pay $205 as a down payment and then $50/month for 12 months with no interest for Florida residents.
Disney World Pirate Pass Perks
