Disney Wonderful World of Sweets Now Open at Disneyland Resort

The new Disney Wonderful World of Sweets has officially opened as part of the ongoing update at Downtown Disney at Disneyland Resort.

Downtown Disney at Disneyland Resort has been undergoing an exciting update. This has included a variety of new dining concepts, such as Paseo, Céntrico, and Tiendita. And this week, the area welcomed a newly reimagined sweet shop!

Disney Wonderful World of Sweets

Taking over for the previous Marceline’s Confectionery, the new Disney Wonderful World of Sweets is your new destination for everything sweet at Disneyland Resort. The colorful, whimsical shop is home to exhibition kitchens viewable from the promenade, letting guests take a look inside the shop to see how their favorite treats are made! You can pick up caramel apples, sour balls, lollipops, churro toffee, and so much more.

Excitingly, the new shop is also introducing the option to buy freshly made Werther’s Original Caramel popcorn, a favorite for guests who have visited Karamell-Küche in the Germany Pavilion of EPCOT!

The shop features a few new characters you can find displayed in the decor of the location: Poppi the popcorn bucket and cake pops named Jimmi, Fluffi, Bonni and Lolli.

Parkside Market

While the dining spot has already been open to guests, Parkside Market food hall has also officially celebrated its grand opening. The area is home to four culinary concepts: Seoul Sister, Sip & Sonder, GG’s Chicken Shop, and Vista Parkside Market.

Disney Storyland Boutique

On January 24, the new Disney Storyland Boutique retail concept will also be making its debut. The concept will regularly rotate theming, decor, and products. Its opening theme will focus on all things cute and adorable!
