This week, Disney Cruise Line’s Disney Wonder has officially embarked on its first-ever sailing from Australia.
It’s been an exciting week for Disney Cruise Line! Earlier this week, Disney revealed a new Haunted Mansion-inspired bar will be coming to the upcoming Disney Treasure when it has its maiden voyage in December 2024. And now, the most magical cruise on Earth has achieved a major milestone down under!
Disney Wonder Sets Sail from Australia for the First Time
On October 28, the Disney Wonder kicked off its inaugural season in Australia, bringing Disney Cruise Line to Australia and New Zealand for the first time. The specialty sailings on the Disney Wonder range from two to six nights, and will depart from home ports of Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane, Australia, as well as Auckland, New Zealand. These sailings will be available from now through February 2024 as part of Disney Magic at Sea.

However, Disney Cruise Line will return to Australia and New Zealand again in fall 2024! The Disney Wonder will set sail from Vancouver, Canda to Honolulu, Hawaii in late September. From Hawaii, the ship will offer a transpacific voyage to Sydney, Australia with stops at Fiji, American Samoa, and New Caledonia.
