The AquaMouse Swiss Meltdown joins Scuba Scramble as the second animated adventure aboard the Disney Wish.
There really is no such thing as too much of a good thing—especially when it comes to the all-new Disney Wish. We already knew that the cruise ship would be the home of AquaMouse, Disney’s first attraction at sea. And we now know that AquaMouse will offer not one but two original animated adventures: Scuba Scramble and Swiss Meltdown.

Back in May, Disney gave us the scoop on Scuba Scramble, a story unique to the AquaMouse starring none other than Mickey and Minnie. That iconic duo pulls double duty on the AquaMouse with a second show called Swiss Meltdown.

More on the Swiss Meltdown Show Aboard AquaMouse
When you think of a summer cruise and waterslides, your mind probably doesn’t immediately go to the Swiss Alps. But when you climb on the AquaMouse for Swiss Meltdown, that’s exactly where you’re headed.
In Swiss Meltdown, Mickey and Minnie take you on a sledding trip that goes sideways when the sun comes out and snow starts melting. Like Scuba Scramble, Swiss Meltdown is inspired by Disney’s Mickey Mouse series—in this case, the 2013 episode “Yodelberg,” which you can check out below (or stream on Disney+).
As you might guess, you can expect a high-octane race through the mountains with the OG power couple. And you can also bank on a special appearance from a certain abominable individual who stalks the Matterhorn Bobsleds at Disneyland.

Walt Disney Imagineering Senior Creative Director Danny Handke was kind enough to reveal the posters for Scuba Scramble and Swiss Meltdown.
As you can see, Mickey and Minnie won’t be the only familiar faces on AquaMouse. Donald, Daisy, Goofy, and Pluto all get in on the fun, too.

Danny also revealed another interesting tidbit to keep in mind:
“One of my favorite details is that Chip and Dale are hiding in each show, hitchhiking their way to Disney’s private island of Castaway Cay. Good luck trying to spot them amid the 60-plus water blasters, misters, and pop jets that you’ll encounter along the way!”
