Disney Wish Teen Lounges Include 3 Cool Cruise Hangout Spots: Edge, Vibe, and The Hideaway

by | Oct 21, 2021 | Disney Cruise Line, Disney Cruise Line News, Disney Wish

Check out Edge, Vibe, and The Hideaway on the Disney Wish if you’re a teen who needs a reprieve from your folks during your Disney Cruise. Sorry, Mom and Dad, no parents allowed in the Disney Wish teen lounges.

In the leadup to the Disney Wish setting sale next summer, a lot of the focus has been on what the all-new cruise ship has in store for youngsters and adults. But if you’ve got tweens and teens who are hard to please, you’ll be pleased to know the Disney Wish has them covered, too.

The Disney Wish will offer a trio of hangout spots targeted at guests between the ages of 11 and 17, plus the in-betweeners ranging from 18 to 20. They even have super-cool names like Edge, Vibe, and The Hideaway. I guess Yeet, YOLO, and It’s Lit were probably all taken.

Edge Lounge Great for Movies, Gaming, Relaxing

One of the lounges, Edge, draws on the look and feel of a comfy New York City loft. The highlight is a solarium that features a huge skylight-like lighting array and bright colors inspired by parks.

Tailored for Disney Wish guests between the ages of 11 and 14, Edge offers cozy seating and a full-service soda bar among other things. It’s also a space for meeting other tweens and teens or breaking out for some solo gaming.

Before your kid leaves with their new friends, they can commemorate their time together in Edge using photo walls. And, yes, the photos can be shared with their friends at home to ensure max jelliness.

Continuing the theme of living quarters in major cities, Vibe is based on Parisian artists’ lofts. That means you’ve got French columns, paneled walls, and all sorts of pop art throughout.

Vibe takes on a colorful, artistic feel with neon signs, colorful artwork, and a rad-looking Mickey Mouse statue done up in unique hues. Perfect for teens between 14 and 17, Vibe boasts floor-to-ceiling windows with sweeping ocean views that make the perfect backdrop for a TikTok or Insta post.

The Hideaway Offers Dancing, Karaoke, and More

For those kids of yours who are technically adults but, like, totally not really adults yet, there’s The Hideaway. Made for guests 18 to 20, The Hideaway offers an upbeat, vibrant place to meet other passengers their age.

Features at The Hideaway include a DJ booth and dancefloor, which should give rise to dancing contests and karaoke. And because the space is across from Vibe, these activities can be shared among different teen and tween age groups throughout the day.
